Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Production and Maintenance Engineer based in the Greater Chennai Area. The responsibilities include overseeing production processes, ensuring equipment functionality, and maintaining safe operational practices. The role also demands developing and implementing maintenance schedules, conducting equipment inspections, troubleshooting machinery issues, and ensuring quality control standards are met. Collaboration with cross-functional teams to optimize production efficiency will be integral to this role.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of production equipment, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting machinery issues
• Understanding of manufacturing processes, process improvement, and quality control standards
• Proficiency in maintenance management systems and documentation
• Excellent problem-solving, time management, and organizational skills
• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment to achieve operational objectives
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field is required
• Prior experience in the FMCG or manufacturing sector is highly advantageous
