Job Summary:
The Product Transformation Capability Lead is a senior leader responsible for scaling Agile and product transformation across the Data, Digital & Technology (DD&T) organization. This role will drive top-down adoption of Lean-Agile principles, DevSecOps, and product operating models, while leading the strategic enablement of platforms including SAFe, Harness.io, Apptio TargetProcess, and Comparative Agility. Reporting directly to the Head of Agile Transformation, this role serves as a critical connector between leadership intent, delivery capability, and measurable outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Agile, DevSecOps, & Product Transformation:
- Lead the end-to-end Agile transformation strategy across DD&T BU pillar product portfolio, aligned with enterprise SAFe implementation.
- Design, evolve, and institutionalize an Agile operating model, including POD structures, governance frameworks, and value stream orchestration.
- Partner with VP/Sr. Director/Director/Managers, and other stakeholders to embed Agile leadership behaviors and ensure top-down cultural and delivery alignment.
- Serve on enterprise leadership forums to ensure alignment, messaging consistency, and strategic impact.
Tooling Enablement & Delivery Efficiency:
- Drive adoption and enablement of key platforms including Apptio Target Process, Harness.io, and Comparative Agility.:
- Lead intake assessments across responsible Data, Digital & Technology pillar to evaluate readiness, capability gaps, and transformation prioritization.
- Define, track, and report on Agile and engineering flow metrics to inform portfolio-level decision-making and continuous improvement.
Coaching, Enablement, and Maturity Building:
- Develop and execute a tiered coaching and enablement roadmap tailored to executives, Product Managers, delivery leads, Innovation Capability Center and hub Agile teams.
- Partner with Innovation Capability Center (ICC) Scrum Masters, RTEs, and Chapter Leads to reinforce agile governance, delivery health, and best practice sharing.
- Conduct Agile maturity assessments and advise on role-based learning paths to support long-term capability uplift.
- Deliver Agile training and workshops related to executive agility, OKRs, SAFe, Scrum, Kanban, Agile tools, and more.
Cross-Functional Alignment & Value Delivery:
- Align Product, Engineering:, and other stakeholders around shared business goals, OKRs, and delivery priorities.
- Identify and mitigate cross-cutting risks, dependencies, and tradeoffs that impact value stream flow and platform delivery.
- Influence the evolution of agile governance models in collaboration with the portfolio/program office and transformation leadership.
- Represent DD&T on transformation forums and governance bodies to ensure alignment across business units.
- Proven experience of prior people management including managing direct reports or dotted line reports in a matrix environment.
Qualifications:Required:
- 6+ years of experience in enterprise Agile transformation, DevOps enablement, or product delivery leadership.
- Proven experience implementing SAFe, DevSecOps, and Agile at Scale within regulated or technical environments.
- Strong understanding of agile metrics, team topologies, value stream management, and flow optimization.
- Executive presence and ability to influence at VP/Sr. Director level across business and technology units.
Preferred:
- SAFe SPC certification; or equivalent transformation leadership credential strongly preferred.
- Hands-on experience with Apptio Target Process, Comparative Agility, Atlassian Suite (Jira/Confluence) and Harness.io.
- Prior experience in the pharmaceutical, life sciences, or similarly regulated domain.
