Job Description
Perform deep-dive analysis and troubleshooting in Snowflake / Hive environments
Manage and support big data applications (Spark, Hive, Python)
Handle production support, incident management, and root cause analysis
Execute deployments, release management, and CI/CD (GitLab pipelines)
Monitor and maintain Airflow (or similar schedulers) workflows
Support Azure cloud-based data platforms
Ensure system stability, performance, and availability
Participate in on-call support (rotational shifts & weekend support)
Collaborate with cross-functional teams for issue resolution and enhancements
4+ years of experience in data analysis, data platform support, or big data environments
Primary Skills
Strong experience in any of:
Snowflake / Hive (advanced querying & analysis)
Hands-on Experience With
Spark, Hive, Python troubleshooting
UNIX/Linux shell scripting
Experience With
Airflow or similar job schedulers
GitLab CI/CD pipelines
Azure Cloud ecosystem
Strong Understanding Of
Application support, deployment, and release processes
Good communication skills (written & verbal)
Secondary Skills
Hands on experience on:
Kubernetes / AKS
Monitoring tools
Networking, IAM, and security fundamentals
Familiarity With
Agile/Scrum methodologies
Tools like JIRA / ServiceNow
Exposure To
Big data platform lifecycle
Backup and recovery strategies
