Solution Architecture & Engineering Excellence:
- Design robust API-driven microservices solutions for retail cross-border and domestic payments, ensuring scalability, security, and compliance
- Define end-to-end solution architecture for payment applications, ensuring alignment with business and regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable and maintainable technology solutions
- Ensure seamless integration of payment systems with other banking platforms and third-party services
- Conduct performance optimization and implement best practices to enhance reliability and scalability
- Hands-on experience with VISA, MasterCard Card, Remittance, and other national domestic payment requirements
Governance, Security, and Compliance:
- Identify and implement security controls by collaborating with Security teams
- Ensure adherence to regulatory compliance, risk mitigation, and governance policies
- Conduct Security impact assessments to mitigate potential risks throughout the delivery lifecycle
- Ensure adherence to enterprise technology standards and best practices in payment system design and implementation
- Responsible for all backlog delivery in the squad, circulate DSR/WSR to stakeholders, and raise risks for missing timelines or blockers
- Develop solutions, manage stakeholders, and handle vendor and financial management, project costs, and delivery
- Identify and manage risks, including developing contingency plans to mitigate potential issues
- Knowledge of end-to-end systems development life cycles (Waterfall, Agile, and modern approaches)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to engage both technical and non-technical audiences
- Share relevant technical and industry knowledge and expertise with other resources
- Demonstrate excellent problem-solving, teamwork, and time management skills
- Be proactive in gathering information and sharing ideas
- Experience in the banking or financial services industry
Skills and Experience:
- Strong experience in API-driven microservices and payment solutions architecture
- Deep understanding of payment systems, VISA, MasterCard Card, Remittance, and domestic payment requirements
- Familiarity with regulatory compliance and risk management in the financial services industry
- Solid understanding of security and governance standards in technology delivery
- Proficiency in collaborating with cross-functional teams, managing vendors, and handling financial management in projects
- Familiarity with end-to-end system development life cycles, including Agile, Waterfall, and other methodologies
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage with stakeholders at various levels
- Strong problem-solving, team management, and organizational skills
