Product Security Engineer

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Report to Product Security Manager

• Work with Product Security Manager and product group teams to facilitate product knowledge and develop quality culture

• Participate in Firmware/Software requirements activities, including elicitation, analysis, and documentation

• Execute product security controls such as secure boot, firmware integrity checks, authentication and vulnerability mitigation as per guidelines.

• Perform unit, integration, system and regression testing for embedded deviceproduct under test

• Execute test cases, log defects, support root cause analysis and verify fixes

• Follow defined secure SDLC practices and coding standards for Automation development.

• Prepare technical documentation, test reports, and execution status reports

• Collaborate with senior engineers, QA and cross functional teams for execution deliverables.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree incomputer science / Electronics/ Instrumentation or related field
• Overall 4-6 yrs of experience in embedded systems or product Verification and Validation and Product Security

• Understanding IEC62443 standard.
• Experience in executing firmware, hardware integration, production security testing activities as per specifications, timelines and quality standards.
• Knowledge of Security design and test practices would be added advantage

• Knowledge of Communication Protocols

• Knowledge of Industry standards and regulations such as IEC 62443 and EU CRA

• Strong understanding of penetration testing methodologies, frameworks, and tools
