Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced Sales/Business Development Director with a minimum of 12-15 years of experience in the IT Product Sales, hunting for new business opportunities.
This position will be based in the Chennai or Bangalore. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of driving sales and business development initiatives.
They should have a solid background in identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, developing, and maintaining relationships with clients, and closing deals to drive revenue growth.
Key responsibilities for this role include:
- Developing and implementing sales strategies to drive business growth and achieve revenue targets.
- Develop go-to-market strategies in collaboration with internal stakeholders.
- Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities through proactive prospecting and networking
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients to understand requirements and recommend suitable products or services.
- Present and demonstrate IT products and services to potential clients.
- Collaborating with internal teams to develop and deliver compelling proposals and presentations.
- Managing the sales pipeline and tracking progress towards sales goals
- Own the sales cycle end-to-end, from prospecting to contract closure.
- Collaborate with delivery and solution teams to shape client proposals.
Qualifications:
- The successful candidate will possess excellent communication and negotiation skills, a strong business acumen, and a proven ability to drive results in a competitive sales environment.
- Strong knowledge of IT products, systems, and industry trends.
- A bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, or a related field is required.
