We are seeking a Product Sales Manager – National Role to lead demand creation, product positioning, and commercial growth for its PREVECTRON®- advanced lightning protection system and PREVECTRON® CONNECT- an IoT-connected, intelligent lightning protection solution portfolio of products across India.
This is a strategic sales leadership role with pan-India responsibility, acting as the national product champion, working closely with regional sales teams, application engineers, channel partners, consultants, and key project stakeholders.
The role combines premium B2B solution selling, specification influence, team leadership, pricing governance, and market development, with clear accountability for revenue growth, profitability, and market share expansion across India.
Key Responsibilities
1. Sales Growth & National Market Development
- Drive PAN-India sales growth for lightning protection systems.
- Grow market share by converting new projects, expanding specification approvals, and strengthening existing customer relationships.
- Position as a solution provider, not a component supplier, across critical infrastructure projects.
- Should possess skills to Confidently represent premium, value-based productsin B2B sales of electrical / industrial solutions and address customer resistance to low-price alternatives.
- Prior international exposure in previous roles—such as working with global principals, overseas manufacturing teams, multinational clients, or cross-border project environments—will be a PLUS.
- Experience in aligning Indian market requirements with international engineering standards, processes, and stakeholder expectations is highly valued.
2. Sales Strategy & Execution
- Develop and execute a multi-year national sales strategy aligned with India's business plan.
- Identify and develop new end-users, consultants, EPCs, OEMs, and strategic partners across regions.
- Translate national strategy into region-wise execution plans with measurable KPIs.
3. Leadership & Team Development
- Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing Sales & Applications team across India.
- Ensure alignment on territory strategy, pricing discipline, joint customer calls, and solution selling.
- Drive a culture of accountability, ownership, collaboration, and ethical selling.
4. Customer, Consultant & Industry Engagement
- Build and sustain senior-level relationships with:
- Electrical Consultants & Design Engineers
- EPC / MEP Contractors
- Project Owners & Developers
- Data Centre Operators, Infrastructure Owners, Insurers, and Facility Managers
- Represent India at national industry forums, seminars, and technical events.
- Act as the voice of the customer, feeding market intelligence back into product, pricing, and marketing strategy.
5. Product Expertise & Specification Influence
- Act as the national product authority for Lightning Protection solutions.
- Conduct technical trainings, CPDs, and product presentations for consultants, contractors, and internal teams.
- Proactively influence tender specifications and consultant approvals by highlighting technical superiority, compliance, and lifecycle value.
6. Quotation, Solution & Project Support
- Support sales and application teams on complex national-level opportunities, tenders, and key accounts.
- Lead solution structuring, pricing strategy, and commercial positioning for major projects.
- Provide installation and execution support where required to ensure project success.
7. Revenue, Pricing & Profitability Governance
- Own pricing discipline, margin governance, and commercial KPIs for the product line.
- Review quotes, discount structures, and deal profitability to ensure sustainable growth.
- Analyze sales data to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities.
8. Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Marketing, Product Management, Finance, Operations, and Supply Chain.
- Support new product launches, national campaigns, and market entry initiatives.
- Align inventory planning and demand forecasting with national sales priorities.
9. Sales Operations & CRM Excellence
- Drive disciplined use of CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce) for opportunity management and forecasting.
- Maintain a robust national opportunity pipeline with accurate reporting.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure stock availability, technical documentation, and field readiness.
Skills & Qualifications
- Experience:
- 10–12 years in B2B sales of electrical / industrial solutions
- Minimum 5 years in a senior sales leadership or product sales role
- Technical Knowledge:
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, MEP tendering, and lightning protection standards
- Leadership:
- Proven ability to lead multi-region teams and influence without authority
- Business Acumen:
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and strategic planning skills

- Excellent presentation and stakeholder-management capabilities
