Job Description

Kotak Mahindra Bank Ltd is seeking a Product Sales Manager to lead and drive sales in the Trade & Forex Sales division. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales and a deep understanding of the trade and forex market.

As a Product Sales Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies to enhance the bank's market position and achieve revenue targets. This role requires a strong understanding of the trade and forex products and services, as well as the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders. You will play a crucial role in driving business growth and ensuring the bank's success in the competitive trade and forex market.

  • Lead and manage a team of sales professionals, providing guidance and support to achieve sales targets.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies and plans to penetrate new markets and expand the client base.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients, understanding their needs and offering tailored solutions.
  • Stay updated on market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes to ensure the bank's offerings remain competitive.
  • Collaborate with product development teams to identify new product opportunities and enhance existing offerings.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify target segments and develop effective sales approaches.
  • Monitor and analyze sales performance, providing regular reports and insights to senior management.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and internal policies in sales activities.
  • Provide training and coaching to sales team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Represent the bank at industry events, conferences, and client meetings to promote the bank's brand and reputation.

  • A bachelor's degree in business, finance, economics, or a related field is preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in sales, with a proven track record in the trade and forex market.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a sales team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a client-centric approach.
  • Deep understanding of trade and forex products, services, and market dynamics.
  • Analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in using sales tools and CRM systems for effective sales management.
  • Strong networking skills and a well-established network in the trade and forex industry.
  • Willingness to travel for business purposes as required.
