Job Title: Assistant Manager / Manager – Software Solution Sales (BFSI)

Job Description:

The Assistant Manager / Manager Software Solution Sales (BFSI) is responsible for driving exponential revenue growth by identifying, prospecting, and closing high-value software solution sales specifically within the Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance (BFSI) domain. Leveraging deep field experience, this strategic role focuses on establishing profound client engagements, mapping key C-suite decision-makers, and flawlessly managing the end-to-end sales lifecycle from initial lead generation to final closure.

Responsibilities:

Sales Strategy & Pipeline Generation

Proactive Prospecting: Build a robust sales pipeline through targeted lead generation, cold calling, and deep web/LinkedIn research to map potential BFSI clients

Account Power Mapping: Identify and engage with C-suite executives, IT heads, and credit/operations leaders within financial institutions to understand their core business pain points.

Strategic Campaigns: Design and own targeted promotional campaigns, utilizing digital marketing insights (Ad campaigns, SEM) to boost product visibility and drive inbound interest.

Client Engagement & Solution Delivery

Cross-Functional Alignment: Coordinate closely with internal pre-sales, product support, and delivery teams to ensure tailored software solutions precisely match the client's unique business requirements.

Collateral Creation: Craft compelling sales pitches, high-impact presentations, and business collateral using Microsoft Office to effectively demonstrate quantifiable business value

Credibility & Relationship Management: Act as a trusted advisor, bridging the gap between internal product management and end customers to ensure long-term client retention and satisfaction

Sales Operations & Team Governance

Daily Operations: Actively participate in day-to-day sales operations, ensuring absolute alignment with corporate revenue targets.

Team Mentoring: Lead, mentor, and guide junior sales team members to optimize their output, conversion rates, and foster a collaborative growth environment

MIS & Forecasting: Maintain rigorous sales hygiene by providing accurate sales forecasts, pipeline updates, and compliance reports for internal leadership review

Continuous Learning: Complete required product training and industry certifications within assigned timelines to remain ahead of evolving financial technology trends.

KEY RESULT AREAS (KRAs)

Revenue Generation: Meeting and exceeding designated quarterly and annual software sales and revenue targets.

Pipeline Health: Maintaining the overall quality, accuracy, data hygiene, and consistent velocity of the active sales pipeline.

Data Hygiene: On-time submission of operational MIS reports and highly accurate, data-backed sales forecasting.

Stakeholder Management: Seamless, friction-free coordination and execution between client expectations and internal technical/delivery teams.

TECHNICAL SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

Industry Experience: 6 to 10 years of core, progressive experience in software solution sales, corporate B2B sales, or technology business development fields.

Domain Expertise: Proven field experience specifically targeting and selling into the BFSI sector (selling Core Banking, Digital Lending, LOS, or LMS solutions is highly preferred).

Communication Mastery: Exceptional interpersonal, negotiation, and storytelling skills to confidently command boardroom and C-suite pitches.

Tech & Marketing Savvy: Advanced proficiency in MS Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel) for pitch design alongside familiarity with modern digital lead-gen models (SEM, Paid Ad avenues).

Attributes: Highly self-motivated, resilient, strong team player, and highly adaptable to dynamic corporate travel schedules.
