Job Descriptio: Sales Manager (Institutional Product)
About the Role
We are looking for a dynamic, result-oriented Sales Professional who has proven experience in Infrastructure/Product Sales and possesses a strong network within Colleges, Universities, and Higher Education Institutions. The ideal candidate should be capable of building long-term institutional relationships, identifying business opportunities, and driving revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive end-to-end product sales to Colleges, Universities, Educational Institutions, and Government/Private Academic Organizations.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with Vice Chancellors (VCs), Registrars, Directors, Principals, Deans, and other key decision-makers.
- Generate new business opportunities through existing industry connections, networking, and institutional outreach.
- Conduct product presentations, meetings, demos, and negotiations with institutional stakeholders.
- Manage the complete sales cycle from lead generation to deal closure.
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Prepare proposals, quotations, and commercial agreements.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding and successful project execution.
- Represent the company at education events, conferences, and industry forums.
Mandatory Requirements
- 1–2+ years of experience in Infrastructure Sales, IT Infrastructure Sales, Technology Product Sales, or Institutional Product Sales.
- Strong existing network with Colleges, Universities, Educational Groups, and Academic Institutions.
- Direct relationships with Vice Chancellors (VCs), Registrars, Directors, Principals, or other senior academic decision-makers will be a strong advantage.
- Excellent understanding of B2B/Institutional sales processes.
- Strong negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
- Self-driven, target-oriented, and capable of independently closing high-value institutional deals.
Preferred Qualifications
- MBA (Marketing/Sales) from a good institute.
- Excellent communication and relationship management skills.
- Strong business development mindset with a proven track record of achieving sales targets.
- Willingness to travel for client meetings and business development activities.
