Product Safety Manager

One of our top client, is looking for a technical Product Safety and Regulatory Affairs expert to manage Food Contact Materials (FCM).

Key Responsibilities:

What you'll be doing:

• Serve as the regional subject-matter expert for Food Contact Materials (FCM), evaluating raw materials, formulations, and coatings for food-contact safety compliance.

• Conduct toxicological and regulatory risk assessments for both data-rich and data-poor chemical substances.

• Track and translate regional regulatory shifts across APACA markets alongside global frameworks like US FDA and EU standards.

• Oversee compliance data, safety documentation, and system data governance using platforms like SAP EH&S, ChemGes, or Sphera, alongside computational in silico tools.

• Act as a sub-team lead for the raw material team in India and collaborate closely with R&D, Procurement, and global stakeholders.

Candidate Profile:

• M.Sc. or B.Tech in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Polymer Science, or a related field.

• 8–15 years of experience in Product Safety, Regulatory Affairs, or FCM compliance from the printing inks, coatings, flexible packaging, or specialty chemicals sectors

• Strong hands-on knowledge of food-contact regulations and chemical management systems.
