Job Overview

We are looking for detail-oriented and experienced Hardware QA / Product QA Engineers to drive end-to-end quality assurance of consumer electronic products, including Audio devices, Cameras, True Wireless Stereo (TWS) and Open Wearable Stereo (OWS) products.

The candidate will be responsible for validating physical hardware, testing embedded firmware, performing mobile application validation and ensuring seamless integration across the complete product ecosystem.

Candidates with hands-on experience in consumer devices, smart wearables, audio products and connected electronics will be preferred.

Key Responsibilities

1. Hardware Testing & Validation

• Perform functional and performance testing of physical hardware components.
• Validate product functionality, reliability, durability and overall build quality.
• Conduct hardware testing for Audio, TWS, OWS and Camera-based products.
• Identify hardware defects, inconsistencies and product-level issues.
• Perform connectivity, battery performance, charging and power consumption testing.
• Validate hardware against product specifications and quality standards.

2. Firmware Testing

• Perform functional and regression testing of embedded firmware.
• Validate firmware updates, device connectivity and device behaviour.
• Identify firmware-related bugs and coordinate with development teams for resolution.
• Test device performance under different operating conditions.
• Validate firmware and hardware interoperability.

3. Mobile Application Testing

• Validate Android and iOS mobile applications associated with consumer devices.
• Test device pairing, connectivity, synchronization and application functionality.
• Verify Bluetooth connectivity and communication between mobile applications and devices.
• Perform functional, compatibility and regression testing.
• Identify and report application-related issues impacting the end-user experience.

4. End-to-End Product & Ecosystem QA

• Perform end-to-end testing across hardware, firmware and mobile applications.
• Validate complete user journeys and device ecosystem functionality.
• Conduct integration, system, usability and performance testing.
• Ensure product quality across different devices, operating systems and usage scenarios.
• Document test cases, test results, defects and quality reports.
• Collaborate with hardware, firmware, software and product engineering teams.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of full-time professional work experience in Hardware QA, Product QA or Consumer Electronics Testing.
• Hands-on experience in testing consumer electronic products or smart devices.
• Experience with one or more of the following:
• Audio devices and Bluetooth accessories.
• TWS (True Wireless Stereo) earbuds.
• OWS (Open Wearable Stereo) devices.
• Smart wearables and connected devices.
• Camera-based consumer electronics.
• Understanding of Bluetooth, BLE and device connectivity.
• Exposure to embedded firmware testing.
• Experience in Android/iOS application testing.
• Strong knowledge of functional, integration, regression and system testing.
• Good defect tracking, test documentation and reporting skills.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities.
