Job Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive QA Tester to join our product engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of enterprise web applications through comprehensive testing and validation processes. The candidate will work closely with Product Managers, Developers, Business Analysts, and Customer Success teams to identify issues, improve product quality, and deliver a seamless user experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyse business requirements, user stories, and functional specifications.

• Design, develop, and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and test scenarios.

• Perform Functional, Regression, Integration, System, and User Acceptance Testing(UAT).

• Validate workflows, permissions, configurations, and business processes.

• Test web applications across multiple browsers and devices.

• Verify data integrity between applications and integrated systems.

• Identify, document, prioritize, and track defects using bug tracking tools.

• Collaborate with developers to reproduce, troubleshoot, and resolve issues.

• Participate in sprint planning, grooming, and release validation activities.

• Conduct API testing and verify application integrations.

• Perform smoke testing before releases and regression testing after fixes.

• Create and maintain QA documentation and testing reports.

• Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and standards.

Required Skills:

• Strong understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).

• Experience testing web-based SaaS applications.

• Knowledge of Functional, Regression, Integration, and UAT testing.

• Experience with defect management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar.

• Familiarity with REST APIs and API testing tools such as Postman.

• Good understanding of SQL and database validation.

• Ability to write clear and comprehensive test cases.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with test automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.

• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.

• Experience testing enterprise applications involving:

• Document Management

• Workflow Automation

• File Storage Systems

• Cloud Integrations

• User Access & Permission Models

• Basic understanding of performance and security testing.

Qualification Required (Mandatory) :

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
