Role Description:

This is a full-time, on-site Product Promotion Manager role based in Patna, Bihar (for Bihar & Jharkhand). The Product Promotion Manager position is a fulltime field based business development position - As a cornerstone of the BMA Team, you will be responsible for driving the strategic expansion of Bharat Medtec Ascent's Innovative & Patented product portfolio across the mentioned region. This is a leadership-oriented business development role requiring a seasoned professional who can navigate complex hospital procurement cycles, build high-level clinical partnerships, and execute aggressive market-entry strategies for new medical technologies. The role involves engaging with hospitals and healthcare providers, gathering market and customer feedback, and sharing insights with product and leadership teams to refine positioning and strategy. The Product Promotion Manager will also track key performance metrics, prepare regular reports, and contribute to building scalable, repeatable business development frameworks for multiple Medtec products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Market Expansion: Identify and penetrate untapped market segments within corporate hospital chains, government institutions, and private nursing homes in mentioned region.

  • Key Account Management: Cultivate and maintain deep-rooted relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), Hospital Administrators, and Procurement Heads.

  • Clinical Collaboration: Partner with surgical and medical teams to conduct product demonstrations, clinical trainings coordination, and value-based selling of specialized devices.

  • Regulatory & Compliance: Ensure all business activities align with guidelines and international ethical standards for medical device marketing.

  • Tender Management: Lead the end-to-end process for institutional tenders, from technical specification shaping to commercial bid submission.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

  • Experience: Minimum 8-10 years of proven success in medical device sales/business development (Orthopedics, Gynaecology, Diagnostics, Critical Care, or Patient Monitoring etc. is desirable but candidates from other therapy areas are also welcome to apply).

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering, Life Sciences, or Pharmacy. An MBA in Marketing or Healthcare Management is highly desirable.

  • Regional Expertise: Strong existing network within the healthcare ecosystem of Bihar & Jharkhand is highly desirable.

  • Technical Proficiency: Ability to discuss complex clinical outcomes and technical specifications with senior surgeons and specialists.

  • Analytical Prowess: Skilled in market mapping, competitor analysis, and CRM-driven sales forecasting.
