We're building a fast-growing, high-impact product that's still early in its journeyand we're looking for a
Product Platform Engineer to help shape its core systems. This role is ideal for engineers who enjoy working close to product, thinking deeply about architecture, and building backend systems that scale reliably under real-world pressure.
You'll work on foundational services and frameworks, take ownership of critical backend components, and influence how the platform evolves as the product and traffic grow rapidly.
What You'll Work On
Core Platform & Systems Engineering
Design, build, and evolve backend services that power a rapidly scaling product.
Own critical platform componentsfrom concept and architecture to production readiness.
Continuously improve system performance, reliability, scalability, and maintainability.
Architecture & Design Ownership
Translate business requirements into clear technical designs and system architectures.
Make thoughtful trade-offs between speed, scalability, and long-term sustainability.
Contribute to architectural decisions that shape the future of the platform.
Engineering Excellence
Write clean, testable, and production-grade code using strong engineering practices.
Participate actively in code reviews and design discussions to raise the quality bar.
Help define and evolve backend standards, patterns, and best practices.
Collaboration & Team Impact
Work closely with product, frontend, and infrastructure teams in an Agile environment.
Mentor junior engineers through technical guidance, reviews, and problem-solving.
Take ownership of outcomesnot just tasksand contribute to a strong engineering culture.
Who This Role Is For
36 years of experience building backend systems or product platforms at scale.
Strong fundamentals in backend engineering, system design, and distributed systems.
Hands-on experience with
Java and/or Golang in production environments.
Experience working with cloud-native architectures on
AWS.
Familiarity with data stores such as
DynamoDB, RDS, Aerospike, and Elasticsearch.
Comfortable designing systems that handle high throughput and rapid growth.
Experience mentoring peers through code reviews or technical discussions.
Curious, proactive, and driven by first-principles thinking.
Someone who enjoys solving hard problems and building systems that last.
