The Team
The Planning Solutions team, part of S&P Global Mobility, is dedicated to delivering high-quality data solutions tailored to our clients needs in global mobility markets. Responsibilities And Impact
- Help design and implement data pipeline architectures to support high-volume data processing and analytics for global mobility markets
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify data product requirements and develop scalable solutions that meet client specifications
- Monitor and optimize dataset performance, ensuring data quality, reliability, and timely delivery to stakeholders
- Support the development of data validation processes and implement best practices for data governance within the new Planning Solutions platform
- Provide technical help in troubleshooting complex data issues and implementing innovative solutions to enhance system efficiency
- Contribute to the evaluation and integration of new technologies that advance our data capabilities and support business growth
What We're Looking For
Basic Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or related technical field
- 3+ years of experience in data engineering, ETL development, or similar data-focused roles
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail and data accuracy
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment
Additional Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform for data solutions
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala for data processing and automation
- Experience with database technologies including SQL and NoSQL platforms (such as PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or Cassandra)
- Familiarity with data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or similar analytics platforms
- Experience in the automotive or mobility industry with understanding of market data and analytics
