Role Description
- Service Solutions & AI is the domain revolutionizing Deutsche Bank's Private Bank through holistic process automation and AI innovation. Within this critical area, the Customer Journey Solutions team is central to shaping its future. We make a significant contribution to the target architecture by driving a common platform, fostering growth initiatives, and optimizing processes. Our key initiatives include the operation and development of the dbCORE low-code platform for process design, creating online product sales and self-service offerings for all channels, building a dedicated product sales and service shop for easy integration, and delivering PB-wide Ident & Sign solutions.
- As a Product Owner, you will be responsible for maximizing the value delivered by your squad. You will shape the product vision, define and prioritize the roadmap, and ensure effective delivery in partnership with engineering, design, QA, architecture, and business teams. This role requires strong ownership, strategic thinking, excellent stakeholder management, and the ability to lead teams toward measurable, customercentric outcomes.

Your key responsibilities
- Product Strategy & Vision
- Define, refine, and communicate a clear product vision aligned with platform strategy and Private Bank objectives.
- Develop a multiquarter product roadmap, ensuring alignment with compliance, technology, stakeholder, and customer priorities.
- Identify strategic opportunities to improve customer experiences, increase automation, and enhance platform capabilities.
- Stakeholder Management
- Serve as the primary interface for senior business partners, domain architects, operations, and compliance teams.
- Drive alignment across diverse stakeholder groups and ensure expectations, dependencies, and priorities are clearly understood.
- Manage escalations, resolve conflicts, and ensure transparent decisionmaking and tradeoff communication.
- Backlog Ownership & Delivery Execution
- Own, structure, and maintain a wellprioritized backlog with clearly defined user stories, acceptance criteria, and dependencies.
- Ensure backlog readiness for sprint planning and support ongoing refinement with engineering, QA, and design teams.
- Support the squad throughout the delivery lifecycle, providing functional clarity and clearing blockers.
- Participate in agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Planning, Budgeting & Financial Governance
- Own product budgets endtoend, including estimation, forecasting, and quarterly/annual financial planning.
- Ensure efficient allocation of resources based on priorities, risk, and delivery timelines.
- Track ROI, manage cost optimizations, and support investment proposals with data and qualitative insights.
- People & Team Leadership
- Provide guidance and leadership to a cross-functional squad-including engineers, QA, UX, and analysts.
- Foster a collaborative, psychologically safe, and highperformance culture.
- Mentor and support team members, identifying skills gaps and contributing to hiring and capability uplift.
- Champion continuous learning, experimentation, and innovation.
- DataDriven Decision Making
- Use customer insights, analytics, operational metrics, and feedback loops to improve decisionmaking.
- Define measurable product goals and track progress against KPIs.
- Advocate customer value and experience across the entire product lifecycle.
- CrossTeam Collaboration
- Partner closely with Program Managers to align with larger initiatives and crossplatform milestones.
- Coordinate with architecture, security, risk, and compliance teams to ensure regulatory and technology alignment.
- Promote collaboration with other product teams for integrated endtoend customer journeys.
Your skills and experience
- Product & Agile Expertise
- Proven experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, or similar role in a complex technology environment.
- Strong command of agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban) and delivery practices.
- Experience with Jira, Azure DevOps, and other agile tools.
- Stakeholder & Leadership Skills
- Demonstrated experience managing senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
- Strong communication, facilitation, negotiation, and expectation management skills.
- Ability to make clear, data supported decisions and communicate trade offs.
- Technical Skills
- Solid understanding of modern application architectures, APIs, CI/CD, test automation, and cloud-native engineering practices.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with engineering and QA teams comfort interpreting technical discussions and constraints.
- Financial & Planning Skills
- Experience in budgeting, financial planning, cost tracking, and investment justification.
- Ability to balance delivery capacity, roadmap priorities, and fiscal constraints.
- Soft Skills
- High ownership, accountability, and self direction.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical mindset.
- Comfortable operating in dynamic, evolving environments.
- Language Skills
- Proficiency in spoken and written English.
- German language proficiency (B1+) is a plus.
