Product Owner

Job Summary

As a Product owner, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Product Owner by analyzing product models, ISO manuals, and managing product backlogs. You will collaborate with QA, business analysts, and IT teams to ensure successful user acceptance testing and defect triage. Your expertise will help drive the successful implementation of commercial lines products on Guidewire Cloud PolicyCenter.

Responsibilities

• Support onsite Product Owner in analyzing product models and ISO manuals for product offerings (Rates, Rules, and Forms).
• Manage product backlog, requirements documentation, clarification, and acceptance.
• Work with QA on testing scenarios to ensure sufficient coverage and review QA testing results.
• Collaborate with business analysts on UAT scenarios and manage successful UAT execution.
• Work with Product Owner, Business, and IT teams on requirements definition, signoff, user acceptance testing, and defect triage.

Requirements

• 8-12 years of experience as a Business System Analyst in commercial lines business.
• Experience working as a Product Owner is an added advantage.
• Excellent knowledge of ISO commercial lines product offerings, Rating, and Forms.
• 6+ years of experience in implementing commercial lines products on Guidewire Cloud PolicyCenter.
• Experience managing product backlog, user stories acceptance, and defect triage.
• Proficiency in Agile methodology.
• Experience with Agile project management tools like Jira, Rally, ADO, etc.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience in progress reporting to stakeholders.
