About Position:
We are seeking an experienced Product Owner with strong expertise in Life Sciences, Laboratory Operations, Analytical & Scientific Instruments, and Agile Product Delivery. The ideal candidate will act as the voice of the customer, translating business needs into actionable product requirements while ensuring delivery aligns with strategic business objectives. This role requires close collaboration with business stakeholders, development teams, product management, and end users to maximize product value and drive innovation across scientific and laboratory workflows.

What You'll Do:
- Own, create, refine, and prioritize product backlog items including epics, features, and user stories.
- Define clear acceptance criteria and ensure backlog readiness for development teams.
- Continuously groom and maintain the backlog based on business priorities and customer feedback.
- Ensure product delivery aligns with organizational goals and business value realization.
- Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, customers, laboratory teams, and domain experts to gather and analyze requirements.
- Translate complex business and operational requirements into actionable user stories.
- Act as the primary point of contact between business users and technical teams.
- Facilitate workshops, requirement discussions, and product demonstrations.
- Participate actively in Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Work with Scrum Masters and development teams to ensure smooth sprint execution.
- Drive incremental delivery of product features and enhancements.
- Ensure stakeholder engagement throughout the product development lifecycle.
- Align product roadmap with business objectives and strategic initiatives.
- Define product success metrics, KPIs, and business outcomes.
- Analyze customer feedback, product usage, and operational metrics to drive continuous improvement.
- Support product vision, long-term planning, and innovation initiatives.
- Manage projects and product requirements related to analytical and scientific instruments.
- Understand laboratory operations, sample analysis workflows, and scientific data processes.
- Collaborate with laboratory scientists, quality teams, and business users to optimize operational efficiency.
- Support digital transformation initiatives within Life Sciences organizations.
- Collaborate with Engineering, QA, UX, Product Management, Compliance, and Operations teams.
- Communicate priorities, risks, and dependencies effectively across stakeholders.
- Drive consensus among cross-functional teams and facilitate decision-making.
- Mentor teams on Agile product ownership best practices.
Expertise You'll Bring:
- 15-20 years of overall IT and business solution delivery experience.
- Significant experience as a Product Owner, Senior Business Analyst, Product Manager, or Agile Delivery Lead.
- Strong domain experience in Life Sciences, Pharmaceuticals, Biotechnology, Food Sciences, Environmental Testing, or related industries.
- Hands-on experience handling requirements related to laboratory operations, scientific instruments, and sample analysis workflows.
- Deep understanding of Agile methodologies including Scrum and Kanban.
- Expertise in writing user stories, acceptance criteria, backlog refinement, and feature prioritization.
- Proven experience managing product backlogs and maximizing business value delivery.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Experience defining product roadmaps, KPIs, and product success measures.
- Ability to balance strategic planning with hands-on execution.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
- Experience working with globally distributed teams and enterprise-scale product environments.
- Proficiency with Jira, Azure DevOps, Confluence, or similar Agile management tools.
- Good understanding of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
- Familiarity with Agile metrics, release planning, and product governance.
- Experience tracking product performance using business and operational analytics.
- Understanding of application development, testing, and deployment processes.
