Job Description – Product Owner

Position: Product Owner

Experience: 6–10 Years

Location: India

Key Responsibilities

• Define and communicate product vision, roadmap, and business goals.
• Own and manage the Product Backlog, ensuring it is prioritized based on business value and customer needs.
• Translate business requirements into clear user stories with well-defined acceptance criteria.
• Work closely with stakeholders, customers, business teams, and development teams to gather and refine requirements.
• Prioritize features, enhancements, and technical enablers to maximize business value.
• Participate in Sprint Planning, Backlog Refinement, Sprint Reviews, and other Agile ceremonies.
• Validate delivered functionality and ensure it meets business expectations.
• Make informed decisions on scope, priorities, and release planning.
• Monitor product performance and incorporate customer feedback into the product roadmap.
• Collaborate with UX, Architecture, Engineering, and QA teams to drive successful product delivery.
• Communicate product updates, progress, and risks to stakeholders and leadership.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field.
• 6–10 years of overall IT experience.
• Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) – Mandatory.
• Strong understanding of Agile Scrum principles and product management practices.
• Experience managing product backlogs and working with cross-functional Agile teams.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Strong analytical and decision-making abilities.

Good to Have

• Technical background in Software Development, Quality Engineering, System Analysis, or Solution Design.
• Experience in Automotive/Automobile industry projects.
• Exposure to Connected Vehicles, Telematics, Mobility Solutions, Embedded Systems, or Digital Product Development.
• Knowledge of SAFe Agile framework.
• Experience with data-driven product management and Agile metrics.
• Familiarity with Cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP) and DevOps practices.
