Job Overview

As a Product Owner International at Emirates NBD, your role is to define the product vision, prioritizing the roadmap to Set the Pace in the regional market, and ensuring the delivery of world-class Service Excellence. You own the end-to-end digital journey, ensuring that our mobile and online banking applications remain the benchmark for Customer Focus and Innovation.

• Define and communicate the product vision and strategy for Emirates NBD KSA, Egypt and India
• Ensure the product experience is aligned with best practices in mobile UX and banking controls
• Partner with development teams to deliver high-quality product increments.
• Define, monitor, and continuously optimize key performance indicators (KPIs) for product success (adoption, activation, funnel conversion, balances growth, retention, serviceability, revenue impact).
• Regularly review performance dashboards, conduct root cause analysis on performance gaps, and lead corrective initiatives.
• Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Ensure clear communication of requirements and priorities to development teams.
• Define key performance indicators (KPIs) for onboarding success.
• Use experimentation and data-driven methodologies (e.g., A/B testing, cohort analysis) to validate hypotheses and improve outcomes.
• Stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging digital banking practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Prioritize features and enhancements based on user feedback, business value, regulatory constraints, performance data and market trends.
• Create, manage, and prioritize the product backlog
• Write clear, actionable user stories with acceptance criteria.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure the backlog reflects current priorities and measurable business objectives.
• Work closely with UX/UI designers to create intuitive and engaging experiences for liabilities.
• Monitor funnel performance and customer behavior metrics, identify drop-offs, and drive improvement initiatives.
• Ensure data accuracy and alignment between business reporting, analytics dashboards, and production behavior.

Skills and Experience

• Minimum of bachelor's degree preferably in business studies or technology.
• Previous working experience in agile team set up.
• In depth knowledge of Agile process and principles.
• Minimum 5 to10 years of experience in agile delivery & mobile app development including on-boarding journeys.
• Experience of working in financial institutions.
• User Experience (UX) Design:

- Understanding principles of good UX design.

- Knowledge of user journey mapping.

- Familiarity with wireframing and prototyping tools.

• Basic Understanding of Mobile Development:

- Familiarity with iOS and Android platforms.

- Understanding of mobile app development lifecycle.

- Knowledge of APIs and integrations.

• Communication and Collaboration Tools:

- Tools like Slack, Microsoft Teams.

- Documentation tools like Confluence.

• Tools like Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD, or InVision
• Creating mockups and interactive prototypes.
