Role Overview

We are looking for a highly experienced Technical Product Owner (TPO) with 15+ years of experience in enterprise technology delivery and product ownership within the banking domain. The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in cloud-native platforms, enterprise architecture, agile delivery, and stakeholder management.

The candidate will be responsible for translating business objectives into a prioritized, delivery-ready backlog while ensuring alignment with organizational goals, governance standards, and digital transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

- Own and manage the technology product backlog for ECDF, ensuring alignment with People Business outcomes, HR policies, and Digital X principles.

- Translate business requirements into clear, prioritized user stories and delivery plans.

- Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, security teams, and engineering teams to drive successful product delivery.

- Act as the onshore coordination bridge between UK stakeholders and India-based development teams.

- Make prioritization decisions by balancing customer experience, governance, delivery timelines, and risk management.

- Partner closely with Scrum Masters and Solution Architects to manage delivery scope, dependencies, and sequencing.

- Ensure compliance with governance and assurance processes including:

- DPIA/GDPR

- Security Risk Assessments

- Records Management

- Change Freeze Calendars

- Design Board Submissions

- Drive agile delivery practices and continuous improvement initiatives across teams.

- Support enterprise-wide platform implementation and modernization initiatives.

Required Technical Expertise

- Strong experience with AWS cloud-native application architectures.

- Hands-on understanding of:

- Java

- Spring Boot

- React

- APIs and integration patterns

- Experience working in regulated enterprise environments.

- Familiarity with enterprise authentication and security systems such as:

- Active Directory

- PingFederate

- Knowledge of Workday (HCM/Talent) ecosystem is highly preferred.
