Job Description Summary:
Lead the governance strategy for AI initiatives, ensuring ethical implementation, compliance with regulations, and alignment with business goals. You'll be responsible for developing and implementing AI governance frameworks, policies, and processes that enable innovation while managing risks associated with AI technologies.
What Part will you play:
Develop and maintain AI governance frameworks, policies, and standards across the organization
Lead cross-functional teams to implement AI risk management strategies and ethical guidelines
Create and oversee AI product lifecycle governance, from concept to retirement
Partner with legal, compliance, risk, and data privacy teams to ensure AI solutions meet regulatory requirements
Establish and track KPIs for measuring AI governance effectiveness
Facilitate responsible AI product development through clear documentation and approval processes
Drive AI transparency initiatives to build trust with stakeholders and customers
Manage AI incident response protocols and mitigation strategies
Educate teams on AI governance best practices and regulatory developments
Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, or related field
5+ years of experience in product management, governance, or compliance roles
2+ years of experience working with AI/ML technologies or products
Knowledge of AI ethics principles and emerging AI regulations
Experience with risk management frameworks and compliance processes
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Ability to translate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences
Preferred qualifications:
Master's degree in AI, Data Science, Business, or related field
Professional certifications in AI ethics, governance, or risk management
Experience implementing AI governance in regulated industries
Background in developing product requirements for AI/ML systems
Familiarity with international AI regulations (EU AI Act, NIST AI RMF, etc.)
Experience with data governance and privacy compliance (GDPR, CCPA)
