Location : Remote - India

Project Duration : 12 months

Pay range : 22LPA - 24 LPA

Job Description:

The role of the Product Owner is a position requiring strategic leadership, deep product knowledge, and the ability to deliver impactful solutions to support our Oracle Cloud product suite. This role will assist in managing the roadmap, requirements, and delivery of HCM modules including US and Global Payroll (implemented), Absence, Time and Labor and Oracle Payroll related integrations including US and Global populations within the overall platform. The product owner acts as a crucial bridge between stakeholders, development teams, and the customer base, ensuring the product vision aligns with organizational goals and marketplace demands. Strong knowledge and proven experience with the Jira Cloud tool, which is primary to capture and plan against the capacity of developers versus the product roadmap and support.

Key Responsibilities:

Product Vision and Strategy

• Define and manage the Short and long-term product vision of HCM modules including US and Global Payroll, Absence, Time and Labor, US Benefits, Expenses and understanding of overall platform in alignment with

company objectives.

• Follow product roadmaps, understand work from Oracle perspective and create Jira stories and Epics to reflect work completed and planned against roadmap, ensuring a balance between customer needs, technological

feasibility, and business goals.

• Continuously assess and incorporate user feedback to refine the product strategy.

- Stakeholder Collaboration

• Engage with HR stakeholders including clients, functional and development teams, to gather requirements and prioritize objectives.

• Collect and analyze feedback from customers, stakeholders, and other teams to shape requirements, features, and end products.

• Act as the primary point of contact for communication between external stakeholders and internal teams.

- Backlog Management

• Proven Experience and knowledge of Jira Cloud tool, including ad hoc reporting of stories, Epics and tasks.

• Maintain a well-organized and prioritized product backlog, ensuring feature requests, support requests and process and system improvements align with the overarching business strategy within Jira

• Write clear and actionable user stories with crystal clear description of work to complete along with focused acceptance criteria for the development team.

• Regularly refine and reprioritize tasks based on changing needs and insights gained during development cycles.

- Agile and Scrum Facilitation

• Act as the primary liaison in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, retrospectives, and daily stand-ups.

• Provide guidance and coaching to teams on Agile practices and Jira Cloud usage and updates to ensure efficiency and quality in delivery.

• Monitor sprint progress and resolve any blockers or impediments affecting team performance.

- Performance and Delivery

• Ensure timely delivery of high-quality products that meet customer expectations and business objectives.

• Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to evaluate product success and team performance.

• Prepare detailed reports and presentations showcasing progress, outcomes, and future recommendations.

Qualifications and Skills:

- Educational Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. A master's degree is preferred.

- Professional Experience

• At least 7+ years of experience in Oracle Development, product management or a similar role.

• Proven track record in managing complex projects and delivering successful products.

• Proven Experience and Knowledge with Agile methodology and tools such as Jira
