Product Owner
A high-growth, VC-backed SaaS company hiring its founding India product team
Location: Remote (India)
The Mandate
A venture-backed SaaS company is building out its founding India product team and has partnered with Flexiple to hire a Product Owner who can turn a fast-moving roadmap into shipped features. The founders set direction; you will decide what gets built next, in what order, and why. Flexiple is a managed marketplace that helps global companies build high-performing teams and GCCs in India.
What You'll Own
Backlog & Roadmap
- Own the product backlog end to end, writing and prioritising user stories with clear acceptance criteria
- Translate customer feedback, usage data, and support tickets into a roadmap engineering can actually build against
- Run sprint planning, backlog grooming, and release reviews with the engineering pod
Stakeholder Alignment
- Act as the single point of contact between engineering, design, sales, and customer success on scope and trade-offs
- Represent the customer in every planning conversation, defending outcomes over output
- Report progress, slippage, and re-prioritisation calls to founders with enough context to act on
What Good Looks Like
- 4 to 8 years in product ownership, product management, or a closely related delivery role, ideally in SaaS
- A track record of shipping features that moved a real metric, not just a release note
- Comfort writing crisp user stories and running Agile or Scrum ceremonies without a coach in the room
- Working knowledge of tools such as Jira, Linear, or Productboard, and enough analytics fluency to read your own data
- Clear written and spoken English and a reliable remote-work setup
Nice-to-Haves
- A Certified Scrum Product Owner credential or equivalent
- Prior experience as the first or founding Product Owner at an early-stage company
- Exposure to B2B SaaS pricing, packaging, or usage-based product models
