Impact you will make
We're seeking a
Product Owner with mandatory healthcare domain experience to lead our
Back Office Tools portfolio within the
Government Reimbursements (GR) organization. This role drives operational efficiency, reporting accuracy. You will collaborate closely with engineering, analytics, QA, and USbased Product Management to deliver highvalue improvements that directly support internal GR operations.
What You Will Do
- Backlog & Delivery Ownership
- Maintain a transparent, prioritized backlog with clear user stories, epics, and acceptance criteria.
- Lead sprint ceremonies: planning, refinement, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Define and own the Definition of Done for features and releases.
- Facilitate continuous stakeholder feedback loops.
- Product Discovery & Requirements
- Conduct requirement sessions with internal users, operations, and Product Management.
- Translate business needs into actionable user stories grounded in the GR domain.
- Perform data validation and issue diagnosis using SQL.
- CrossFunctional Collaboration
- Work closely with engineering, QA, analytics, and reporting teams to ensure delivery alignment.
- Collaborate with USbased Product Managers to ensure backlog aligns with GR strategy and metrics (Efficiency, Accuracy, CR, TDRG, Reports, etc.).
- Partner with analytics/data teams to prioritize improvements to reporting, pipelines, and internal tools.
- Operational Excellence
- Identify productivity gaps and drive continuous improvement.
- Track and report feature progress, risks, dependencies, and release value.
What You Will Bring
- Healthcare industry experience is a must understanding of healthcare operations, revenue cycle, government reimbursement workflows, or related healthcare systems.
- SQL skills are a must ability to write queries, analyze datasets, validate reporting output, and investigate data-related defects.
- 47+ years as a Product Owner or Business Analyst for internal tools/backoffice systems.
- Strong ability to transform business requirements into stories with measurable outcomes.
- Experience working in Agile environments with tools such as Azure DevOps or Jira.
- Excellent collaboration skills with crossfunctional teams (engineering, QA, analytics, PM).
- Strong communication skills; ability to lead stakeholder discussions and requirements workshops.
- Demonstrated track record of improving operational efficiency, data accuracy, or workflow productivity.
- Strong expertise in system analysis and process mapping
Preferred (Good to Have):
- Background in Government Reimbursements (GR), Medicare Bad Debt, or healthcare financial systems.
- Experience supporting or enhancing internal reporting systems or RPAenabled processes.
