Overview
We're looking for an experienced Product Owner (PO) to join our team. This role is crucial for maximizing the value of our software applications by bridging the gap between business needs and development efforts.
Key Tasks & Responsibilities
- Articulate and communicate the product vision and roadmap to internal and external stakeholders.
- Develop, refine, and drive the product backlog, ensuring items are clearly defined, estimated, and prioritized based on business value.
- Continuously prioritize features, enhancements, and defects to maximize the business value delivered by the development team.
- Act as the primary Voice of the Customer and key stakeholder contact for the development team.
- Define detailed product requirements, including writing user stories and defining acceptance criteria.
- Work closely with stakeholders and the development team to ensure the product meets business objectives and user needs.
- Inspect and accept (or reject) completed work from the development team to ensure it meets the defined acceptance criteria and quality standards.
Qualifications
- Proven, substantial experience as a Product Owner in the software applications domain.
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum).
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with stakeholders and the development team.
- Ability to understand and articulate business value and prioritize work accordingly.
- General understanding of software development processes and technologies.
