Experience Required: 8+ Years

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Product Owner – Custody with strong expertise in custody and asset servicing within the capital markets domain. The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience working in Agile environments and strong proficiency in Azure DevOps (ADO) for backlog management, sprint planning, and delivery tracking.

The candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, operations teams, and technology teams to define product vision, manage priorities, and drive successful delivery of custody-related initiatives.

Mandatory Skills:

• Strong experience in Custody / Asset Servicing domain
• Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps (ADO)
• Experience working as a Product Owner in Agile/Scrum environments
• Strong understanding of: 1. Securities Settlements 2. Corporate Actions 3. Trade Lifecycle 4. Reconciliation Processes 5. Capital Markets Operations
• Expertise in backlog management, sprint planning, and user story creation
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Experience with Jira, Confluence, or Agile delivery tools

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of SWIFT messaging standards
• Exposure to custody platforms or investment banking applications
• CSPO / SAFe POPM / Scrum certifications
• Experience working with global financial institutions

Education:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field.
