We are seeking an experienced Product Owner with strong functional expertise in Trade Settlement domains. The Product Owner will be responsible for driving the delivery of high-impact financial products and services that enhance operational efficiency, reduce risk, and improve client experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the primary liaison between business and technology teams, translating business requirements into actionable user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Define and manage the product roadmap, ensuring alignment with business priorities and regulatory requirements.
• Lead backlog grooming, sprint planning, and prioritization activities for trade settlement and custody platforms.
• Collaborate with operations, compliance, and technology partners to modernize core custody and settlement systems.
• Work closely with developers and QA teams to ensure quality delivery and timely releases.
• Support the implementation of automation and process optimization across the custody lifecycle.
• Ensure the product meets industry standards (SWIFT, ISO 20022, FIX) and adheres to settlement cycles (T+1/T+2) and regulatory frameworks.
• Partner with stakeholders to develop and track KPIs and product success metrics.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• 8–12 years of total experience, with at least 5+ years as a Product Owner in financial services.
• Strong functional knowledge of Custody Operations, Trade Settlement, Asset Servicing, or Clearing Systems.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments and using tools like JIRA, Confluence, and ADO.
• Familiarity with post-trade workflows—trade capture, confirmation, matching, settlement, and reconciliation.
• Hands-on experience with data-driven decision-making and stakeholder management.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
