Role Description
We are looking for a technically strong and customer-focused Product Owner to drive product strategy, roadmap planning, and Agile delivery. The ideal candidate should have prior software development experience in mobile technologies and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross functional teams to deliver scalable digital products.
Key Responsibilities
- Define product vision, strategy, and roadmap aligned with business and customer requirements.
- Gather, analyze, and translate business needs into user stories, acceptance criteria, and product features.
- Own and prioritize the product backlog based on business value and technical feasibility.
- Act as the primary point of contact between stakeholders and development teams.
- Lead sprint planning, backlog grooming, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Support Scrum teams in achieving sprint goals and ensuring timely product delivery.
- Work closely with engineering teams on technical feasibility, architecture discussions, APIs, integrations, and mobile technologies.
- Monitor product progress, communicate updates to stakeholders, and manage risks/dependencies.
- Continuously improve product features through iterative development and customer feedback.
- Identify improvement opportunities using analytical tools, product metrics, and user insights.
- Ensure adherence to user-centered design principles and design quality standards.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, IT, or related field.
- 4–6 years of overall experience with at least 3 years in software development.
- Prior experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or Product Management professional preferred.
- Strong understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies.
- Technical background with knowledge of software development lifecycle, mobile technologies, APIs, and product architecture.
- Experience with Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or similar Agile tools.
- Strong analytical, prioritization, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Good organizational skills with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
