Job Description

Act as the voice of the customer by maintaining key information on personas, user journeys, product metrics and benefits. Partner with key stakeholders to define goals, success criteria and measurable outcomes for delivering ongoing value. Provide effective day-to-day leadership of an agile product team by defining the vision and directing execution of a mobile (iOS/Android) and digital product roadmap focused on customer experience and business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Own and manage the mobile app product backlog (iOS & Android), ensuring clear prioritization aligned to business and customer goals.

Lead day‑to‑day execution for an Agile Scrum team, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, stand‑ups, reviews, and retrospectives.

Partner closely with Engineering and UX to define user stories, acceptance criteria, and sprint scope to deliver high‑quality mobile features.

Represent the customer in the team by providing context on user needs, journeys, and expected outcomes.

Understand business strategy and customer goals. Define Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) for the customer and business and regularly monitor progress toward goals and share with sr leaders.

Collaborate with analytics and engineering to monitor mobile KPIs such as adoption, engagement, retention, and app performance.

Support continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance app stability, usability, and performance.

Act as the primary point of contact between business stakeholders and the Scrum team, ensuring clarity, alignment, and smooth delivery.

Communicate sprint progress, risks, and dependencies regularly to stakeholders and team members.

Required Qualifications

7-9 years of experience in a product owner for native mobile applications, preferably in client-facing digital products.

Certification in Agile or Scrum (e.g., CSPO).

Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and experience leading Agile ceremonies.

Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Working knowledge of tools like JIRA, Confluence, and other collaboration platforms.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience managing mobile app backlogs, releases, and app store/play store deployments.

Strong experience with mobile analytics tools and metrics (e.g., Firebase, App Analytics, user funnels, retention).

Understanding of UX/UI principles and how they influence mobile app experience and feature adoption.

Experience working with cross-functional teams in a large enterprise setup.

Ability to balance short-term business needs with long-term digital strategy.

In-Office Collaboration

We are a client-centric, relationship-based business. Working together, in-person, is foundational to how we achieve results. By fostering a culture of face-to-face collaboration, idea sharing, productivity and personal connection, we deliver for our stakeholders — clients, advisors, employees and shareholders. Our employees work in the office at least three (3) days per week, with flexibility to work from home two (2) days per week. Some roles may require additional in-office time or different in-office expectations, and specific requirements will be discussed during the hiring process.
