Job Description

Project Role : Product Owner

Project Role Description : Drives the vision for the product by being the voice of the customer, following a human-centered design approach. Shapes and manages the product roadmap and product backlog and ensures the product team consistently deliver on the clients needs and wants. Validates and tests ideas through recurrent feedback loops to ensure knowledge discovery informs timely direction changes.

Educational Qualification : 15 years full time education

Summary:

As a Product Owner, your day revolves around championing the customer s perspective to guide the product s development. You lead the creation and refinement of the product roadmap and backlog, ensuring alignment with client expectations. Throughout the day, you engage with the product team to monitor progress and facilitate adjustments based on continuous feedback. Your role involves validating concepts and ideas through iterative feedback cycles, enabling the team to adapt swiftly and deliver solutions that truly resonate with user needs. This dynamic environment requires balancing strategic vision with practical execution to drive product success.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
  • Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
  • Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
  • Collaborate closely with stakeholders to gather and prioritize product requirements.
  • Facilitate communication between cross-functional teams to ensure clarity and alignment.
  • Monitor product performance and user feedback to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Support junior team members by providing guidance and sharing knowledge.

Professional & Technical Skills:

  • Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Personal Insurance.
  • Strong understanding of product lifecycle management and agile methodologies.
  • Experience in managing product backlogs and roadmaps effectively.
  • Ability to translate customer needs into actionable product features.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Capability to analyze feedback and make data-driven decisions.

Additional Information:

  • The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Personal Insurance.
  • This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
  • A 15 years full time education is required.
