We are seeking a detail-oriented and operationally strong Product Merchandiser for the Gift Wrapped by Oberoi vertical. This role is responsible for coordinating end-to-end product merchandising operations, with a strong focus on order processing, reordering, and cross-functional coordination with hotel procurement, F&B Operations, finance teams, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
The role ensures supporting hotel with product availability, order fulfilment, and smooth backend operations, supporting curated gifting experiences aligned with brand standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Order Processing & Reordering
- Serve as the primary coordinator for order placement and reordering for the Gift Wrapped by Oberoi vertical across respective hotels.
- Coordinate closely with hotel procurement and F&B Operations teams to validate product requirements, specifications, quantities, and delivery timelines.
- Proactively track stock levels and initiate timely reorders to prevent shortages across hotel locations.
- Monitor order status end to end from PO creation to delivery and closure.
Cross-Functional Coordination
- Work closely with Finance teams to support PO creation, pricing validation, approvals, and invoice reconciliation related to Gift Wrapped by Oberoi orders.
- Coordinate with logistics and dispatch teams to ensure accurate and timely delivery of gifting products to hotels.
- Act as the central communication link between hotels, vendors, procurement, finance, and the Gift Wrapped by Oberoi team.
Vendor & Supply Coordination
- Coordinate with approved vendors supplying to the Gift Wrapped by Oberoi vertical to ensure consistent availability, adherence to lead times, and pricing terms.
- Share updated product, pricing, and vendor details with procurement teams for negotiation and renewals.
- Support vendor onboarding coordination and documentation as required.
Product & Merchandising Support
- Support sourcing and onboarding of curated gifting products aligned with Gift Wrapped by Oberoi brand standards.
- Ensure products are accurately documented with SKUs, product codes, pricing, MOQs, and ordering formats for hotel use.
- Assist in collection planning by ensuring timely sourcing and readiness of products for gifting launches and replenishments.
Inventory, Reporting & Documentation
- Maintain a structured inventory and product database for the Gift Wrapped by Oberoi vertical, including samples, pricing, discounts, and vendor details.
- Track inventory movement across hotels and flag risks, discrepancies, or slow-moving stock.
- Prepare regular reports on order status, reorders, inventory levels, and vendor performance.
Qualifications & Skills
- 2–4 years of experience as a Product Merchandiser or in product coordination, procurement support, or operations, preferably in hospitality, gifting, retail, or F&B.
- Strong coordination experience with hotel procurement, F&B operations, finance, and vendors.
- High attention to detail with strong follow-through on orders, documentation, and timelines.
- Proficiency in MS Excel / Google Sheets for tracking and reporting.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, operations-driven environment.
