Job Description

About the Role:

We are looking for a highly execution-focused and strategically driven Product Marketing Specialist to support the growth, positioning, and lifecycle marketing of Truckopedia's compliance products, including eForm 2290, eMCS, eUCR, IFTA, and upcoming platform initiatives.

This role will be responsible for driving product marketing programs across acquisition, engagement, conversion, retention, and cross-sell initiatives. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in product launches, customer lifecycle communication, owned inventory optimization, market research, user behavior analysis, and cross-functional execution.

The role requires a balance of strategic thinking and hands-on execution, with a strong focus on improving product awareness, platform literacy, customer engagement, and revenue contribution through structured product marketing initiatives

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Product Marketing & Positioning
  • Support positioning and messaging for Truckopedia's products and platform initiatives.
  • Develop product communication frameworks aligned with business goals and customer behavior.
  • Ensure consistency of messaging across website, email, paid campaigns, in-product communication, and lifecycle journeys.
  1. Lifecycle Marketing & User Journeys
  • Support end-to-end go-to-market execution for product launches, feature rollouts, and seasonal initiatives.
  • Coordinate launch timelines, messaging alignment, and communication planning across teams.
  • Work closely with Product, Design, Content, Analytics, and Marketing teams during launch cycles.
  1. Product Launches & GTM Execution
  • Help define lifecycle communication journeys across acquisition, activation, retention, and win-back stages.
  • Support behavior-driven communication flows and engagement programs.
  • Assist in improving repeat engagement and cross-product adoption.
  1. Customer Insights & Market Research
  • Conduct competitor analysis, market research, and customer behavior analysis.
  • Support surveys, user feedback programs, and audience insight initiatives.
  • Translate insights into actionable marketing recommendations and communication improvements.
  1. Content & Communication Collaboration
  • Work closely with content and design teams to develop product marketing assets.
  • Provide structured briefs for campaigns, lifecycle communication, launch messaging, and in-product promotions.
  • Ensure communication aligns with product positioning and customer context.
  1. Performance Tracking & Reporting
  • Track and analyze campaign performance, conversion trends, and engagement metrics.
  • Assist in building reporting structures for product marketing initiatives and lifecycle performance.
  • Support data-driven optimization of messaging, placements, and communication flows.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • 5–10 years of experience in Product Marketing, Lifecycle Marketing, Growth Marketing, or related roles.
  • Strong understanding of product marketing principles, customer journeys, and lifecycle communication.
  • Experience supporting product launches and go-to-market initiatives.
  • Familiarity with CRM/lifecycle tools such as HubSpot is preferred.
  • Understanding of customer segmentation, behavioral marketing, and conversion optimization
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills.
  • Strong project management and execution capabilities.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally across Product, Marketing, Analytics, and Design teams.
