Job Description

We're a tight-knit team building at the intersection of AI, product, and human-centred design. If you want to be part of something that's redefining how companies find talent — this is the place.

About This Role

This is not a manage the playbook role. There is no playbook yet — you write it. You will own everything from product messaging and newsletters to SEO, AEO, LinkedIn strategy, and Reddit presence. You will work directly with the founding team with high autonomy and real accountability.

What You'll Own

Product Marketing

Own messaging and positioning for Sia and the full SenseLoaf platform. Build persona frameworks for CHROs, TA leads, and staffing ops buyers. Write value props, use-case pages, and competitive comparison content. This is your anchor — every piece of content flows from here.

Newsletters and Updates

Write and send the SenseLoaf newsletter — product updates, AI hiring trends, customer stories. Build a cadence that keeps prospects warm and customers engaged. Own the email calendar end to end.

SEO + AEO Content

Write long-form SEO blogs around hiring intelligence, AI recruiting, and candidate fraud. Also optimize for AEO — structuring content to surface in AI-generated answers on Perplexity, ChatGPT Search, and Google AI Overviews. A forward-looking channel most competitors aren't investing in yet.

Linkedin Strategy

Build and run SenseLoaf's LinkedIn presence — company page and founder content. 3-4 posts per week minimum. Carousels, text posts, short-form insights. You write the content, brief the designer for visuals, track traction, and double down.

Reddit & Community

Monitor r/recruiting, r/humanresources, r/SaaS and relevant subreddits. Answer questions organically, track recruiter pain points, identify viral topics. Not spam — genuine presence. Feed insights back into content and product.

Landing Pages & Copy

Write and maintain landing page copy, feature pages, product comparison pages, and CTAs. Work with the GTM/RevOps hire on conversion tracking. Brief the designer on visuals.

G2 & Review Platforms

Run review outreach to existing customers. Maintain G2 listing — screenshots, feature descriptions, response to reviews. Monitor competitor listings for positioning signals.

Customer Stroytelling

Interview customers, write success stories and ROI narratives. We have 10 customers — all 10 should have a story within 90 days.

Product Documentation

Write and maintain FAQs, onboarding guides, help-centre articles, and release notes. Keep documentation current after every product release.

Skills We're Looking For

Must-Have

  • B2B content writing: Long-form SEO blogs, landing page copy, LinkedIn posts — all three. You write clearly in plain English without buzzwords.
  • SEO fundamentals + AEO awareness: Keyword research, search intent, on-page basics. Understands how to structure content for AI search engines — featured snippets, structured data, direct-answer formats.
  • Email marketing platform: Hands-on with Mailchimp, Loops, HubSpot, or similar. Can build sequences, segment lists, and read performance data — not just send blasts.
  • Product messaging: Translates complex AI product features into clear copy enterprise buyers actually understand. Knows the difference between features and value.
  • LinkedIn content creation: Has run a B2B LinkedIn presence before — built a content strategy with formats that drive engagement from the right audience.
  • Process building: Documents what they build. SOPs, content calendars, brief templates — someone else could follow the system without them.

Nice-to-Have

  • B2B SaaS / HR-tech background: Experience in recruiting tech, HCM, or enterprise SaaS means faster ramp and more credible writing.
  • Canva / basic design: We have a freelance designer, but moving fast independently for simple creatives is a bonus.
  • Reddit / community marketing: Has done organic community work in SaaS or tech. Knows the line between helpful and spammy.
  • G2 / review platform experience: Has run a review outreach campaign, knows how G2 listing optimisation works.

Experience

2–5 years in a B2B content or product marketing role. Startup / early-stage SaaS preferred. Portfolio or work samples carry more weight than job titles.

Who You Are

  • You work without a manager in your ear. Founders are busy. You prioritise your own week, make judgment calls, and bring solutions — not status updates. High autonomy is not a perk here, it's a requirement.
  • You build systems, not just content. One good blog is execution. A repeatable editorial process that runs without you is a system. We want the latter.
  • You write for humans, not algorithms. B2B buyers don't want jargon. You write plainly, get to the point, and shift voice between a LinkedIn post, an email sequence, and a case study.
  • You're curious about where search is going. AEO is new territory. You don't need to be an expert — but you should already be experimenting with how AI tools surface content.
  • You adapt without losing momentum. With initial customers, priorities shift fast. You adjust focus without needing a reorg or a three-week planning cycle.

What We're NOT Expecting

To be clear — you are not expected to:

  • Run paid ads or performance marketing
  • Do site development
  • Run cold outbound campaigns
  • Be a graphic designer
  • Do everything on day one.
