Job Description

Objective:

To lead product marketing initiatives by conducting in-depth market research, developing and executing go-to-market strategies for new product launches, and collaborating with sales and product management teams. Drive product success through data-driven insights, cross-functional coordination, and innovative marketing approaches that enhance market positioning and customer engagement.

Key responsibilities:

Market Research & Analysis: Conduct detailed market research to identify customer needs, industry trends, and competitor movements. Convert insights into actionable strategies.

Pricing Strategy: Develop and implement data drive pricing strategies to optimize profitability, market competitiveness and customer value alignment.

Product Roadmap, Product Positioning & Strategy: Define product value proposition, differentiation, and messaging in line with market demands and company goals.

Go-to-Market Execution: Plan and execute product launches, promotional activities, and marketing campaigns. Ensure timely and impactful rollouts with cross-functional alignment.

Scheme Management- Channel & Customer Engagement: Build strong engagement with distributors, retailers, and end customers. Drive channel marketing programs, trade schemes, exhibitions, and events.

Performance Tracking & Reporting: Track campaign performance, sales growth, and ROI. Share regular updates and recommendations with leadership.

Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with Sales, R&D, Quality, and Manufacturing teams to align marketing initiatives with business and product development plans

Experience and Qualification

10+ years of experience in product marketing within the electrical/FMEG industry, particularly in switches and switchgear.

Demonstrated success in managing end-to-end marketing strategies and product launches.

Strong expertise in product development, market research, and Scheme management.

Excellent communication, analytical, and leadership skills with proficiency in marketing tools and techniques.

MBA/PGDM in Marketing; Engineering background preferred
