Product Marketing Manager - Bangalore
Informatica is seeking a Product Marketing Manager with expertise in enterprise software and cloud data management to drive the go-to-market success of our Cloud Modernization program. This role is ideal for a storyteller and strategist who can translate complex technology into compelling narratives that resonate with both technical and business audiences.
You will report to the Senior Director, Product Marketing.
Technology You'll Use
Enterprise Software, Cloud Data Management & Integration (iPaaS), Master Data Management (MDM), Data Quality and AI/GenAI-powered cloud platforms
Your Role Responsibilities. Here's What You'll Do
Own Messaging and GTM Strategy
Define and execute product marketing strategy for Informatica's Cloud Modernization program.
Craft differentiated messaging and positioning that clearly communicates the value of modernization in enabling AI-driven transformation.
Develop data-driven go-to-market plans and continuously refine them based on customer insights, market trends, and performance metrics.
Drive Content and Customer Storytelling
Partner with customers to create compelling narratives, case studies, and assets that highlight real-world modernization journeys and business outcomes.
Own and deliver a comprehensive content portfolio-including whitepapers, blogs, solution briefs, presentations, and sales enablement tools-to support the full buyer journey.
Enable Sales and Field Teams
Act as a subject matter expert (SME) for Cloud Modernization, enabling sales to effectively articulate Informatica's value to prospects and customers.
Build high-impact sales enablement materials that simplify complex cloud and data modernization concepts for diverse audiences.
Cross-Functional Leadership
Collaborate closely with product management, campaign teams, sales, alliances, and global system integrators (GSIs) and Ecosystems teams to drive Modernization program adoption and pipeline growth.
Align with demand generation and corporate marketing teams to execute integrated campaigns across channels.
Market Evangelism
Represent Informatica as a thought leader at industry events, webinars, analyst briefings, and media engagements.
Promote Cloud Modernization best practices through digital channels, social media, and customer-facing programs.
Own Product Launches
Plan and execute successful product and program launches-from messaging and positioning to field readiness and market activation.
What We'd Like to See
You're well-versed in enterprise software, especially cloud data management, data and app integration, iPaaS, and cloud modernization technologies.
Can develop product positioning/messaging that articulates unique value propositions.
Understand multiple primary personas, including developers, enterprise architects, data engineers, ETL and software developers, data analysts, data scientists, and C-level IT managers.
Oversee and deliver a complete bill of materials, including ebooks, blogs, whitepapers, datasheets, etc., presentations, briefs, FAQs, guides, and related collateral that allow the sales process from lead generation to deal close, create excitement, and build trust in market leadership that accelerates Informatica's IDMC adoption.
Work collaboratively with partners and GSI teams to accelerate and scale Cloud Modernization programs.
What We're Looking For
Strong understanding of enterprise software, particularly cloud data management, integration, MDM, and modernization strategies.
Proven ability to create compelling positioning and messaging that differentiates solutions in competitive markets.
Experience engaging multiple personas, including developers, architects, data engineers, analysts, and C-level executives.
Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, concise, and persuasive content.
Demonstrated success collaborating across global, cross-functional teams and influencing stakeholders.
Creative, strategic thinker with a passion for storytelling and innovation in marketing.
Role Essentials
5 or more years of product marketing experience with experience delivering compelling, breakthrough content in an enterprise software environment.
Develop an understanding of data integration and data engineering market and solutions, customer pain points, competition, and trends.
Experience with content development for complex products sold to IT or other technical buyers is desired.
Written and verbal skills with meticulous attention to detail
Outstanding communication skills, especially converting complex ideas into simple messages.
Experience participating in and influencing cross-functional teams.
Work with peer and senior technical customer users/buyers to solicit and summarize customer and market feedback for actionable recommendations on positioning and messaging.
Create data-driven go-to-market plans and adjust based on data analysis, market feedback, and corporate strategy evolution.
MBA or equivalent educational background, we will consider an equivalent combination of relevant education and experience
