Position Responsibilities

We're looking for a Product Marketing Manager to help drive go-to-market for Costpoint, Deltek's flagship ERP solution for US based government contractors.

This role is about taking complex products, especially around ERP and AI, and turning them into clear, meaningful value for customers. You'll help bring new capabilities to market and make sure customers understand, adopt, and use them.

You'll work closely with Product, Sales, Customer Success, and Marketing. You should be comfortable owning execution, not waiting for direction, and keeping things moving across teams.

What You'll Do:

Go-to-Market Execution

  • Support GTM strategy and take ownership of execution for launches, releases, and key features
  • Develop clear messaging that connects product capabilities to real business outcomes
  • Build sales enablement materials like decks, battle cards, and talk tracks
  • Run adoption campaigns with Sales and Customer Success
  • Track what's working and adjust based on results

Product and AI Positioning

  • Translate ERP and AI capabilities into practical value for customers
  • Help position Costpoint within Deltek's broader platform and against competitors
  • Tie messaging to outcomes like compliance, audit readiness, profitability, and cash flow

Content and Campaigns

  • Create content that actually gets used, including infographics, short videos, and sales assets
  • Move beyond standard blogs and white papers when better formats exist
  • Partner with Demand Gen to support campaigns

Market Insight and Field Feedback

  • Work with Sales to understand deals, objections, and competitive pressure
  • Talk to customers and bring those insights back into messaging and strategy
  • Use data and feedback to continuously improve

Execution and Ownership

  • Drive work from start to finish without needing constant direction
  • Keep stakeholders aligned and push for timely feedback and approvals
  • Build simple execution plans when multiple teams are involved
  • Use judgment to decide what feedback matters and what does not

AI-Driven Work

  • Use AI tools to speed up research, content creation, and execution
  • Look for better ways to get work done and share what works

Qualifications


What we're looking for:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications or related field
  • 5-7 years of experience in product marketing, solutions marketing, or go-to-market roles for B2B SaaS software
  • Demonstrated ability to understand and articulate AI concepts and experience turning them into clear value for customers
  • Strong execution skills, you can take something from idea to delivery
  • Experience supporting Sales and contributing to real deals
  • Comfortable using AI tools to improve how you work
  • Strong communication and content skills
  • Able to manage multiple priorities and work across teams
  • Must be able to work UK hours with partial overlap into U.S. Eastern time (typically 11:30 AM - 8:00 PM IST)
  • Willingness to travel up to 10-15% annually
  • Candidates should be prepared to walk through a recent GTM execution example, including how AI was used to improve speed or outcomes

Strongly Preferred:

  • Experience marketing ERP, project management, financial management, or compliance software
  • Familiarity with U.S. Government Contracting industry, compliance requirements (CMMC, DCAA, FAR), or regulated industries
  • Track record of executing GTM campaigns that drive measurable adoption and pipeline impact
  • Experience working with Product Management on launch planning and roadmap alignment
  • Comfort with data analysis and using metrics to refine GTM strategy
  • Experience in matrixed organizations requiring cross-functional influence

Nice to Have:

  • Understanding of professional services or project-based business models
  • Experience in positioning platform or ecosystem solutions
  • Familiarity with developer-facing products or extensibility platforms
