Marketing Manager ( Product Management) Critical Care Injectables

Location: Hyderabad (Corporate Office)

Industry: Pharmaceutical Critical Care / Anti-Infective Injectables

A growing pharmaceutical organisation specialising in Critical Care therapeutics, with a strong portfolio including:

  • Antibiotics (Injectables)
  • Antifungal agents
  • Anti-infectives
  • Analgesics / Critical Care injectables

The company operates strongly in hospital and institutional segments and is expanding its national footprint.

Role Summary

The Marketing Manager / Product Manager will be responsible for strategic planning, positioning, and lifecycle management of the Critical Care injectable portfolio.

The role requires strong therapeutic knowledge in anti-infectives and hospital business dynamics. The candidate will drive product strategy, launch execution, scientific communication, and field force enablement across India.

Key Responsibilities

1. Product Strategy & Portfolio Management

  • Develop annual marketing plans for anti-infective and critical care injectable portfolio.
  • Conduct market analysis, competitor benchmarking, and pricing strategy.
  • Identify growth opportunities in hospital and institutional segments.
  • Manage product lifecycle from launch to maturity.

2. Scientific Positioning & Communication

  • Develop core positioning based on clinical evidence and guidelines.
  • Create visual aids, LBLs, scientific brochures, and promotional materials.
  • Ensure accurate and compliant scientific messaging.
  • Support antibiotic stewardship positioning where relevant.

3. New Product Launch Management

  • Lead launch planning, forecasting, and inventory coordination.
  • Develop launch campaigns and field communication strategy.
  • Train sales teams on product science, objection handling, and differentiation.

4. Sales Force Enablement

  • Conduct training programs for ZBMs, RBMs, and frontline teams.
  • Develop FAQs, competitor comparison sheets, and objection-handling tools.
  • Support national sales meetings and review presentations.

5. Market Intelligence & Analytics

  • Track sales trends, prescription patterns, and competitor movements.
  • Analyze hospital buying behavior and tender trends.
  • Provide monthly performance analysis and corrective action plans.

6. Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Work closely with:
  • Sales team
  • Supply chain
  • Regulatory affairs
  • Production
  • Finance
  • Ensure alignment between demand planning and field requirements.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • B.Pharm / M.Pharm / Life Sciences (MBA Marketing preferred).
  • 510 years of pharma experience.
  • Minimum 24 years as Product Manager / Group Product Manager in:
  • Anti-infectives
  • Critical Care
  • Injectable portfolio
  • Strong exposure to hospital / institutional marketing.
  • Experience handling high-value injectable brands.
