Product Marketing Intern

Job Title: Product Marketing Intern

Location: Bangalore

Work Mode: On-Site (Full-time)

CTC: 3-5 LPA

About the role:

This role ensures that every product and feature communicates the right value to the right persona at the right stage of their journey.

This role will focus on driving adoption, retention, conversion, upselling, and cross-selling throughout the customer journey, from acquisition to expansion. You will work closely with Product, Growth, Sales, and Customer Success teams to maximise product value and revenue impact.

Responsibilities:

1) Maintain Voice of Customer

Set up and run a VoC capture system across Sales + Success + Support + Product

Maintain a VoC Vault: pains, triggers, objections, outcomes, proof, competitor mentions

Run a weekly cadence: collect inputs, tag them, and summarise patterns

Publish a monthly VoC insights report (what buyers are saying + what changed)

Deliverable: VoC repository + monthly insights doc

2) Sales Enablement

Create and update:

Why we win / Why we lose

Top objections + best responses

Competitor battlecards (Graphy/Teachable/Podia, etc.)

Convert sales feedback into usable scripts & FAQs for marketing + sales

Deliverable: Battlecards + Objection-handling FAQ bank

3) ICP & Persona (Customer Insights Ownership)

Define and maintain ICP by segment (test-prep, creators, corporate training)

Map per persona: pains, triggers, decision criteria, objections, proof required

Deliverable: 1-page ICP + persona sheets (refine it continuously)

4) Messaging Framework (Positioning Ownership)

Turn VoC into a messaging framework:

Message pillars

Value propositions by segment

Proof points and differentiators

what we never say (guardrails)

Ensure message consistency across ads → landing pages → sales narratives

Deliverable: Messaging playbook + message bank

5) Copy Support for Ads + Website

Produce copy deliverables (based on your strategy):

Headline and CTA bank

Ad copy variants (angles, hooks, objections)

Landing page copy blocks (hero, bullets, proof, FAQs)

Coordinate with the designer to convert copy into page sections and creatives

Deliverable: Copy library + landing-page copy blocks

6) Feedback Surveys (System Ownership)

Draft survey questions for:

Post-demo (won deals)

New customer onboarding

Renewals/Churn risk

Run survey distribution with Sales/CS ops

Analyse results and fold findings into VoC + messaging

Deliverable: Monthly/weekly survey insights

Nice to have:

  • Prior experience in B2B marketing, product marketing, customer insights, or sales enablement
  • Open to learning and curious about how product marketing works.
  • Strong writing and messaging skills
  • Ability to turn messy feedback into clear patterns and actionable insights
  • Curiosity about how product marketing impacts adoption, retention, and revenue
  • Comfort working across multiple teams and balancing strategy with execution

What success looks like:

  • Improved CTR, landing page conversion rate across funnels
  • Conversion rate of MQL - SQL ratio
  • Better clarity and consistency in how the product is positioned across channels
  • Improved CTR and landing page conversion rates across campaigns
  • Better objection handling and sharper sales narratives
  • Clearer ICP and persona understanding across teams
  • More useful customer insight loops influencing messaging and go-to-market decisions
  • Higher product adoption, upsell, and cross-sell support through stronger communication
