Job Description

About Finrep

Finrep is an AI-powered financial disclosure intelligence platform built for the CFO office and SEC reporting teams at public companies. We replace fragmented 5-7 tool workflows with a single, evidence-first platform that helps finance professionals research, benchmark, draft, and validate SEC filings with precision.

Our product spans 40+ use cases across SEC reporting, disclosure drafting, technical accounting, legal counsel, and investor relations. We are not a generic AI tool. We build practitioner-grade software for people who live inside 10-K close cycles, comment letter responses, and FASB interpretations.

The Role

We are looking for a Product Marketing Associate who will own and execute product marketing across channels at an early-stage, venture-backed B2B SaaS company selling to a deeply technical audience: SEC reporting leads, technical accountants, legal counsel, and CFOs at public companies.

This is not a post on social media and track metrics role. You will be responsible for crafting messaging that resonates with practitioners who can spot shallow content instantly. You will own the full product marketing surface area: email, LinkedIn, website, and competitive intelligence. You will work closely with the founding team, and your work will directly shape how the market perceives and engages with Finrep.

What will you own

Email Campaigns

  • Build and optimize product activation sequences, nurture flows, and release notes emails.
  • Write subject lines, body copy, and CTAs grounded in specific product capabilities and persona pain points.
  • Own drip campaign architecture: timing, branching logic, segmentation strategy, and performance iteration.

LinkedIn Content

  • Research and synthesize real SEC filing data, FASB updates, and peer disclosure patterns into content that provides genuine value to the audience.
  • Build and sustain a consistent organic presence that positions Finrep as the practitioner's platform.

Website and SEO

  • Write and optimize use case pages, blog posts, and landing pages for Finrep's 40 use cases.
  • Apply AEO/GEO optimization principles to ensure Finrep content surfaces in AI search results (ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews).
  • Structure content for both human readers and AI citation engines

Competitive Intelligence

  • Monitor competitor positioning, messaging, and product updates in the SEC reporting and disclosure management space.
  • Own battlecards and positioning briefs that sharpen Finrep's differentiation.
  • Identify content gaps and messaging angles that competitors have not claimed.

Who You Are

  • You have 0-2 years of experience in product marketing, content marketing, or a related function at a B2B SaaS company. Fresh graduates with exceptional writing and research ability are welcome.
  • You write clearly and concisely. You can take a complex, technical topic and make it accessible without dumbing it down.
  • You are genuinely curious about financial reporting, SEC compliance, or enterprise SaaS. Deep domain knowledge is not required on day one, but the drive to build it quickly is non-negotiable.
  • You have strong research instincts. You enjoy digging into primary sources (SEC filings, FASB guidance, peer disclosures) rather than relying on secondhand summaries.
  • You are comfortable working with AI tools. You see AI as a collaborator, not a replacement.
  • You are self-directed and thrive in ambiguity. You do not need someone to define every task for you. You see gaps, propose solutions, and execute.

Bonus Points

  • Familiarity with SEC filings (10-K, 10-Q, 8-K, proxy statements) or financial reporting workflows.
  • Experience with email marketing platforms (e.g., Klaviyo, HubSpot, Mailchimp).
  • Track record of creating LinkedIn content for B2B audiences.
  • Working knowledge of SEO, AEO, or content strategy.
  • Exposure to tools like Figma, Canva, or Semrush.

Why Finrep

  • Early-stage, high-ownership environment. You will not be a cog in a marketing machine. You will be the marketing machine.
  • A product that solves a real, deeply felt problem for a technical audience that values substance over flash.
  • Direct access to founders and early team members. Your ideas reach the decision table the same day.
  • Work across the entire PMM stack from day one: email, content, web, competitive, and product positioning.
