Job Context & Major Challenges
The formals category for Van Heusen is still the largest one with a high annual growth rate. Hence it is important for the brand to be in-line with the consumer requirements, to determine the store inventory and to price the range.
Key Challenges:
. Reduction in the final cost of the product by reducing trim cost in spite of increasing RM costs.
. Finding new products season on season
. Having control on PC to MRP
. Plan for Exciting CTM collections majorly focused on new trends
Key Result Areas

| KRA1 | Style code generation in SAP | . Upload style master, price master and classification master as agreed upon in the trade show |
| KRA2 | Create BOM style wise in SAP | . Ensure all details wrt BOM are correctly entered in the system style wise |
| KRA3 | Sell thru presentation | . Prepare Sell through analysis of the swatches offered during the trade show and present to design. . Ensure those learnings are implemented in season line |
| KRA4 | Adherence to BCDS | . Updating the BCDS with complete accuracy as and when required. |
| KRA5 | Follow up for fabric, trims and gold seal | . Follow up for fabric and trims as per deadlines at every stage . Report to Product Manager in case of any delays . Maintain and tag gold seals in safe custody . Hand it over to Supply chain department for Work Order generation. |
| KRA6 | Sampling follow up | . Assist Product Manager in product development related sampling . Follow up with sampling units to ensure samples are delivered on time |
| KRA7 | Analysis reports | Conduct Costing error analysis and prepare report on same on a daily basis. Prepare Prime cost-MRP analysis report based on specified targets on a monthly basis. Prepare Sell through analysis reports on a monthly basis. Responsible for preparation and review of BOM on a monthly basis. |
| KRA8 | New trims development | Provide support in the development of new trims every season. |
