Merchandise Planning & Grid Management
- Develop and manage merchandise grids for all product categories in alignment with seasonal strategies
- Finalize SKU-level indenting and quantities for each product category
- Coordinate with relevant teams to ensure the merchandise mix is produced as per plan and timelines
Trend Analysis & Feedback Incorporation
- Conduct trend analysis using available sales data to guide merchandise decisions
- Gather and analyze feedback from key channel partners on past product performance
- Use insights to refine offerings for upcoming seasons
Pricing & Costing
- Prepare costing sheets to maintain budgeted gross profit (GP) and contribution before amortization (CBA)
- Provide inputs for finalizing MRPs while managing price points and PC to MRP ratios as per budget
- Finalize Goldseal and material requirement plans accordingly
Product Development & Coordination
- Provide seasonal brand briefs to the design studio
- Work with cross-functional teams to ensure timely production aligned with the planned merchandise grid
- Ensure achievement of pre-planned PPM (parts per million) numbers for quality and consistency
- Ensure CTM (critical to market) plans are executed effectively
Channel & E-Commerce Management
- Ensure freshness of product offerings on e-commerce platforms every 15 days through SMUs (Special Make-Up units)
- Collaborate closely with retail and other channels to understand product requirements and optimize the range accordingly
Inventory & Stock Management
- Conduct regular sell-through analyses to identify high-performing and slow-moving products
- Manage leftover raw materials through repackaging, re-offering, and dormancy control strategies
- Maintain healthy inventory levels aligned with demand
Team Management & Development
- Set clear goals for team members and identify skill gaps
- Provide coaching, mentoring, and conflict resolution support
- Motivate and align the team towards common business objectives
