Verona was founded by two serial entrepreneurs Mr. Poshak Agrawal and Mr. Rahul Subramaniam, and backed by some of the biggest names in global technology, such as Mr. Michael Novogratz (ex-Fortress Investment Group, CEO of Galaxy Group Investments) & Mr. Rishi Jaitly (ex-Twitter CEO for Asia, Middle East, and Africa).
The 3 S's of Verona - Standards, Security, and Science
Role Brief
As a Product Manager at Verona, you will be responsible for owning the end-to-end lifecycle of Verona features, from problem definition and system design to post-launch iteration. You will work closely with Engineering and Design teams to translate business requirements into detailed product logic, drive day-to-day execution, and act as the final quality gate to ensure a high-quality, data-driven user experience across the platform.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's/ Master's from a Tier 1 institute (preferred)
- 1–3 years of experience in product management or engineering roles
- Experience in consumer products and analytics
- Strong communication and attention to detail
Key Responsibilities
Feature Ownership & Systems Design
- Own the end-to-end lifecycle of specific Verona features or workflows, from problem definition to post-launch iteration.
- Translate business and user requirements into detailed product logic, covering user flows, system behavior, and state transitions.
- Define how features behave across different states (e.g., session persistence, backgrounding, retries, cross-tab interactions).
- Proactively identify and design for edge cases and failure scenarios (e.g., API failures, latency, empty states) to ensure a seamless user experience.
- Partner closely with Engineering to review Technical Design Documents (TDDs), ensuring the proposed architecture aligns with product intent, scalability, and performance expectations.
Execution & Delivery Excellence
- Break down features into clear PRDs, user stories, and acceptance criteria that enable efficient development.
- Drive day-to-day execution within the squad, ensuring clarity of scope, priorities, and timelines.
- Actively unblock Design and Engineering by resolving ambiguities and making timely decisions.
- Maintain high velocity without compromising on clarity or product quality.
Quality Ownership & Release Management
- Act as the final quality gate for owned features before production release.
- Conduct thorough end-to-end User Acceptance Testing (UAT), validating both expected flows and edge cases.
- Ensure the final build meets defined product standards and delivers a consistent, reliable user experience.
- Own release readiness, including documentation, communication, and coordination with relevant stakeholders.
Data & Analytics Ownership
- Define success metrics and design the event tracking schema as an integral part of feature development.
- Ensure all critical user actions and system events are instrumented correctly.
- Validate analytics implementation in staging environments to ensure data accuracy and completeness.
- Monitor post-launch performance, analyze funnels and drop-offs, and use data to drive iterative improvements.
Post-Launch Optimization & Iteration
- Own the performance of features after release, including identifying friction points and areas of improvement.
- Conduct deep-dive analyses to understand why behind user behavior and feature performance.
- Drive V2/V3 iterations based on data insights, user feedback, and business priorities
- Continuously refine workflows to improve usability, efficiency, and impact.
Location/Work Environment:
The Vatika Triangle; M.G. Road, Gurgaon.
- We have built a creative space in a prime location in Gurgaon. The office is on M.G. Road, a 2-minute walk from the M.G. Road Metro Station.
- Our team consists of creative and diverse people, all goal-oriented and hungry for growth (and healthy snacks). The work environment is a mixture of formal and playful, as we all strive to get things done while sipping Italian coffee brewed in-house.
