Product Manager

We are looking for a product manager for the Smart Ship© Hub™ Digital platform, which enables teams to efficiently guide businesses to success across our Family of Maritime Apps (Vessel Monitoring, Crew Management, Condition Monitoring Voyage Performance, etc.).

We envision a central communication platform Digital Twins that matches and delivers the best Remote Vessel Performance systems to businesses when and where they need it to help them achieve their objectives as quickly as possible.

Our internal partners and customers include Engineering team, Analytics Team, Software Development and Product teams launching new features and teams working on business growth.

Work Experience

• 5 - 8 years Product Management experience

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop product roadmap - Interact with key stakeholders (senior leadership team, chief engineers, clients, partners), understand market trends, technology trends, and competition to develop the roadmap. Collaboration with sales/CFG and engineering team required. Interactions with clients & partners required.
• Maintain roadmap – 4Q rolling roadmap
• Requirements management – Manage/document requirements (with the help of BAs)
• Coordinate product development – (not to be confused with engineering) - Manage/document requirements, help prioritize requirements, keep track of product development by engineering, periodic review of product development, arrange sneak previews for clients/internal stakeholders like sales/CFG
• Stakeholder management – Manage various stakeholders which are directly/indirectly impacted by the product development/engineering process across various aspects of the products (bug fixes, feature enhancement, new features, new products)
• Drive execution with quantitative and qualitative data on user behavior, platform stats and experimentation.
• Identify and break down complex business problems into solvable pieces that can be shipped iteratively.
• Strategic intent - Help make the platform as one of the top 3 globally.

Skills and Experience.

• Experience in building and scaling world-class platforms.
• Experience driving product development with cross-functional colleagues.
• Proven record of successful product outcomes.
• Experience working with technical management teams to develop strategy, systems, solutions, and products.
• Experience establishing work relationships across multi-disciplinary teams and multiple partners in different time zones.
• Past experience managing products in one of the following spaces: CRM, Marketing, e-Commerce, Logistics, Customer support.

Education

• Bachelor in Computer Science or a related technical discipline, or equivalent experience.
• MBA or equivalent in Product management (preferred).
