Product Manager 1 - Search

About the Role
We are looking for a Product Manager to own the Search & Discovery experience for our e-commerce marketplace. You will drive how users discover products by improving search relevance, ranking, filters, and intent understandingdirectly impacting conversion, GMV, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end marketplace Search experience: query understanding, relevance, ranking, facets/filters, sorting, and zero-result handling.
- Improve product discovery across categories using user intent signals, catalog quality, and behavioral data.
- Partner with Engineering, Design, Data, and Category teams to ship scalable search improvements.
- Define and prioritize search problems using metrics like CTR, conversion, add-to-cart, GMV, and search abandonment.
- Run A/B experiments, MVPs, and relevance tuning to optimize search performance.
- Drive initiatives around catalog normalization, attributes, synonyms, and taxonomy.
- Build and maintain a 3+ month roadmap aligned to business and category goals.
Requirements
- 2+ years of total experience in Product Management (e-commerce/marketplace strongly preferred).
- Hands-on experience with Search, Discovery, or Recommendation systems in a marketplace setup.
- Strong understanding of e-commerce metrics and funnels (search PDP cart order).
- Data-driven mindset with experience in experimentation and analytics.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills across tech, category, and business teams.
