Job Title: Product Manager – SAP Fioneer Financial Ledger Solutions

About the Role: We are seeking an experienced Product Manager to drive the product vision, roadmap, and delivery of SAP Fioneer-based Financial Ledger solutions for leading global banking clients. In this role, you will serve as the strategic bridge between finance leadership, technology delivery teams, and implementation partners. You will work closely with CFO organizations, Finance Controllers, and senior banking leaders to translate complex accounting and regulatory requirements into scalable product capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Define, manage, and prioritize the product roadmap for banking financial ledger solutions based on business value.
- Lead Agile delivery ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog grooming, product reviews, and release planning.
- Conduct gap analysis of current-state finance processes and translate business needs into clear product features, Epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Drive the adoption of SAP Fioneer FPSL and FSDM capabilities, ensuring alignment with financial accounting and data governance standards.
- Facilitate requirements workshops with CFOs, Finance Controllers, Heads of Finance, and Regulatory Reporting teams.
- Track product KPIs and regularly present roadmap updates and progress reports to senior executive leadership.
Mandatory Requirements
- Minimum of 8 years of overall professional experience across Product Management, Business Analysis, or Banking Transformation programs.
- Proven domain expertise within Banking and Financial Services, specifically supporting finance functions, accounting, or regulatory reporting.
- Direct hands-on experience or deep exposure working with SAP Fioneer solutions, with a strong emphasis on FPSL and FSDM modules.
- Solid structural understanding of General Ledger (GL), Sub-Ledger accounting, financial reporting architecture, and IFRS standards.
- Demonstrated track record of authoring clear Agile product artifacts, including Roadmaps, Epics, User Stories, and Acceptance Criteria.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience delivering platforms or transformation programs for global corporate banks.
- Functional knowledge of broader SAP Finance transformation program lifecycles.
- Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or SAFe Agile certification.
- MBA or equivalent postgraduate business qualification.
