Role: Product Manager – Respiratory Care

Location: Mumbai

Department: Marketing

Qualification

  • MBA in Marketing / Business Management
  • Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences / Biomedical Engineering / Medicine or related field

Experience

  • 10–12 years in product management / marketing / clinical sales in medical devices
  • Strong exposure to critical care, ventilators, or neonatal care preferred

Role Overview

Lead the pan India respiratory care portfolio (ICU & neonatal ventilation) by combining clinical expertise, product strategy, and commercial execution. Act as a subject matter expert to drive market growth, clinical adoption, and strengthen engagement with key stakeholders across India.

Key Responsibilities

Portfolio Strategy & Leadership

  • Own pan India strategy for respiratory care portfolio
  • Develop and execute go-to-market (GTM) strategies
  • Analyze market trends, competition, and performance metrics
  • Drive consistent product positioning across regions
  • Collaborate with sales, service, and global teams

Product Expertise & Management

  • Act as clinical & technical expert for ventilators (adult, pediatric, neonatal)
  • Develop product collateral, clinical documentation, and training materials
  • Support sales with solution-based selling and technical expertise
  • Maintain strong understanding of product differentiation

Clinical Marketing & KOL Engagement

  • Execute clinical marketing initiatives for product adoption
  • Build and manage relationships with KOLs and clinical experts
  • Develop regional clinical networks
  • Lead clinical education initiatives in ICU, neonatal & pediatric care

Key Account Management

  • Engage with hospitals, institutions, and procurement bodies
  • Build long-term customer relationships
  • Coordinate pre-sales to post-sales activities
  • Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities

Training & Clinical Education

  • Conduct product demos, workshops, and simulation trainings
  • Deliver CME programs with leading institutions
  • Customize training for ICU / neonatal scenarios
  • Improve training effectiveness based on feedback

Tender & Commercial Support

  • Support public/private tenders and RFPs
  • Ensure accurate technical specifications and proposals
  • Track procurement trends and policy changes
  • Develop competitive strategies using market insights

Events & Lead Generation

  • Represent company at conferences (ISCCM, NNF, etc.)
  • Drive event-based branding and lead generation
  • Manage booth setup, demos, and logistics
  • Track and convert leads with sales teams

Additional Responsibilities

  • Act as Academy Expert for Respiratory Care
  • Support internal capability-building initiatives
