Job Description

At Supertails, we're building India's most loved pet-care platform—and we're now looking for a Product Manager – Platform & Operations to own the systems that power our post-order execution.

This role focuses on the technology backbone behind fulfilment: warehouse management systems, dark store operations, inventory accuracy, order orchestration, and ERP integrations. These systems ensure that every order is picked, packed, dispatched, and delivered reliably—at scale.

What we are looking for

We want someone who thinks in systems, understands operational complexity, and is excited to build scalable platforms that directly impact customer trust and unit economics.

You will enjoy this role if you are:

  • A pet parent – This matters to us. It gives you real empathy for why delivery accuracy, speed, and reliability are non-negotiable
  • A systems thinker – you enjoy mapping complex workflows across warehouses, inventory, and logistics
  • Comfortable with operational complexity – imperfect data, physical constraints, real-world trade-offs
  • Experienced with operations technology – OMS, WMS, inventory systems, ERP, logistics or supply chain platforms
  • Strong with data & metrics – defining success metrics, analysing bottlenecks, and measuring impact
  • Someone who thrives in cross-functional environments – working deeply with warehouse teams, supply chain, ops, CX, and engineering
  • Able to move fast in ambiguity – breaking problems down, shipping incrementally, and iterating

Experienced – ideally 3–5 years in product roles within e-commerce, marketplace, logistics, or supply chain tech

What you'll own & drive

  • Post-order & fulfilment platforms - Own systems that manage the order lifecycle—from confirmation to dispatch and delivery readiness
  • Warehouse & dark store systems - Build and scale workflows for picking, packing, bin management, inventory movement, and dispatch
  • Inventory accuracy & allocation - Improve stock visibility, allocation logic, reconciliation, and shrinkage reduction
  • OMS & ERP integrations - Ensure reliable data flow across OMS, WMS, ERP, logistics partners, and CX systems
  • Operational efficiency & scalability - Identify bottlenecks and design systems that improve throughput, SLA adherence, and cost per order
  • Root-cause driven problem solving - Partner with ops and CX to fix systemic issues—not just surface-level symptoms
  • Experimentation & continuous improvement - Design experiments, ship improvements, and measure impact on fulfilment performance
  • Data & metric ownership - Own key operations metrics such as:

Order accuracy (%): % orders delivered without fulfilment defects (wrong/missing item, qty, batch/expiry)

Fulfilment SLA adherence (%): % orders picked/packed and handed off within SLA (by warehouse/dark store)

Inventory accuracy / variance: variance between system vs physical stock (tracked via cycle counts)

Dispatch & delivery breach rate (%): % orders breaching promised dispatch time or delivery ETA

Cost per order (₹/order): end-to-end fulfilment cost per shipped order (warehouse + packaging + last-mile)
