Job Description

As a Product Manager at Checkmate, you will own the end-to-end process of conceiving and delivering impactful solutions for our customers. You will join a dynamic product team and translate user needs into detailed specifications that align with the overall product vision.

Product Strategy & Leadership:

  • Help define and champion a clear product vision and strategy aligned with overall business objectives
  • Conduct thorough market research, Customer analysis, and competitive analysis to identify opportunities and unmet needs
  • Translate user needs and business requirements into detailed user stories and acceptance criteria.
  • Prioritize features and help develop a product roadmap that balances short-term goals with long-term vision.

Product Development & Execution:

  • Oversee the entire product development lifecycle for assigned features, from ideation to launch and iteration.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure timely and high-quality product delivery
  • Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success and identify areas for improvement
  • Manage the product backlog, prioritize features, and make data-driven decisions to optimize product performance.

Communication & Collaboration:

  • Clearly communicate product vision, strategy, and roadmap to stakeholders across the organization
  • Build strong relationships with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, marketing, and sales.
  • Act as a subject matter expert and advocate for the customer within the organization.
  • Effectively present product updates, insights, and recommendations to leadership and stakeholders

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field is preferred
  • 3-5 years of experience in software product management or technology/engineering roles
  • Proven track record in product management, with experience launching successful products
  • Demonstrated ability and commitment to leveraging AI tools to perform job duties; this is a requirement for every team member
  • Experience working in an agile environment
  • Excellent analytical skills and ability to derive insights from data
  • Excellent collaboration and cross-functional partnership skills
  • Strong business acumen and financial skills
  • Technical acumen: A solid understanding of APIs and their role in system integration
  • Strong presentation skills and executive presence. Flexibility to work during US hours at least till 5 pm ET is essential for this role.
